A Lost Voyage
In reply to Arryn Andrer (msg # 82):
It had been several hours since Larzander had seen any sign of the night watch, or heard the bells called for that matter. Quietly the warrior stuck his head in the Captain's quarters to see if his employer was still sleeping.
The large man was puzzled by what he saw. The Captain's bed was empty. He walked in and took a look around the room. The Captain was gone. Larz checked the room for any signs of struggle, and even checked the windows, which he found locked from the inside.
The Captain had vanished without a trace. The only way in or out of the room save the windows which were locked, was directly past Larzander. Larz took his job as the Captain's personal bodyguard very seriously. He had stood guard, awake and alert. There was no way anyone could have got past without him knowing.
Hearing the sounds of feet on the deck above him the warrior went to investigate. As he went he yelled out, "Night watch sound off!"
