I am currently trying to write up ciphers for my players and I am so lost. I have been working on this for 2 months and it is driving me up a wall.

more information please, what kind of ciphers? I don't know the game, but I liked to play with codes and ciphers when I was a kid, I might be able to help.

side note: So is that how you spell cipher well i would have never know.

Considering the lifespan of many WoD games I'd concentrate on the short term till you know they are gonna stick around.

Are you talking about the cryptographic kind of cipher, or does it mean something special in Demon? All the WoD games use certain words  as terms of art to indicate unique game and setting concepts.

I'd wait until you get a feel for the characters, but you do need to have them figured before they start buying Embeds.

Onyx Path offers a sample character PDF, which includes a completed Cipher for each.

The quick and dirty method would be picking Embeds that seem fitting to the character, then coming up with powers that use themes from both their linked Embeds.

I personally find that "Final Truth" thing at the end kinda lame. I'd recommend using it to give the players some sort of secret about the Chronicle, or the God-Machine itself.
