So, I was bored and perusing the Chamber of Lost Souls, and I noticed one name that kept appearing over the years. This KhaosXteam person seems to be the admin/moderators' personal nemesis.

Was just curious, is anyone willing to share that particular story?

The story, such as it is, is all there in the Chamber of Lost Souls (albeit in short form).

• Continual breaches of forum rules
• Inciting others to break forum rules
• Creation of multiple accounts in attempt to get around forum restrictions placed because of the above
• Eventual total ban from the site
• Further multiple accounts in repeated attempt to get around that ban.

This person went to a lot of work to get themselves to be not wanted somewhere and then try to stay in that place. Some people just really like trouble, regardless of which end they're on.

I met him once when we still had a chat, total jerk.  Likely a lot of the restrictive rules were created to try and restrain him.  He used to show up with a new name or several at least once a year, I guess hoping the moderators would have forgotten to watch out for him.

There is still a chat... or at least, the button that leads to the chat is still there. No one in it and no longer registered though...

I also remember that guy. Before he was banned, he was running dozens of very large games, where he copy/pasted his material from other roleplaying sites.

No idea, on either.  It used to work, but I don't think it was ever really popular.

It was pretty popular in its day, but it also had moderation of a sort by jase and elSpike, and maybe others (before you were a(n official) moderator, IIRC, BBR).  Not so good to have a site chat that isn't backed up by the big guns, and eventually it just died away.

It had it's core folks who would hang out there and then some  folks who would drift in and out. That was back when Nerwen and Brianna were lead mods for Chat. I made a lot of really great friends that way that I still am in touch with in the outside-RPOL world. But different strokes for different folks these days, I suppose. The last time I popped in there, it was pretty desolate.
