'ello! :)

Just joined the other day. I'm 41, and I have experience with role playing in LARPs (Werewolf/Masquerade) and on Moo and MUSHE environments. Pretty new to not posting/roleplaying in real-time...should be interesting, you have time to think :D

Thought I'd say hi and introduce myself :) I play in a RL D&D 5e game every other week that I enjoy - Lore Bard :D And have played Pathfinder enough to know it's not for me. Too picky. Oh, and I've played Call of Cat-thulu in a one-off game at a boardgame convention which was very cute.

Generally I'm looking for a place to be creative and socialize, that isn't as fast paced as twitter/instagram etc. Does this mean I'm old? o.O I first went looking for places like I used to hang out in - Dragon Riders of Pern MOO etc...but it seems text environments have just kinda died out... still there but languishing. *pines for the dial-up BBS days* ... Okay, yeah, I'm old. ;)

As for what I want to play - more creative based stuff and character/story development than dice rolling. I get my dice rolling fix in D&D. But a bit of combat dice is fine by me, too... Yay randomization! ;)

A fan of Buffy, Dresden Files, Star Trek over Star Wars (I know, I know - I'm a heathen) -Except! for the real original Star Wars which was awesome but has been erased from history - you can't even buy the original movie anymore...

So, that's me! Nicetameetchya and I hope to start up in a game here, soon :)

There's a fair amount of Call of Cthulhu, Pathfinder, and Free-Form here. Other systems are a bit more interspersed, but still exist.

If you are looking for a specific game, I suggest posting in Wanted-GMs with a list of the different games you're looking for. I'm sure I'm not the only GM that lurks there, looking for something interesting ;)

Oh! Yep :) I played that, but enjoyed Werewolf - an offshoot of Vampire the Masqurade - more :) Had a nature magic native american feel without as much political intrigue.
