Looking for a GM to run a 5e game. I'd like a game more mature to adult rated. I prefer role play over roll play. Story should be the driving factor for the game. A city set game would be nice for a change of pace.

I might be able to do something for you. What kind of story are you looking for? What kind of character do you have in mind? Are you wanting a solo game? One with a small group? Large group?

I get role play over roll play, but it still helps to have a level range in mind. What are you looking for--novice characters (level 1-5), skilled characters (levels 6-10, heroic characters (levels 11-15), or veteran/legendary characters (levels 16-20+)?

I'd be happy to join in on a city-based game.

I'd be keen for a city-based game as well, especially if there's more focus on story and intrigue over combat.  Let me know if anything comes of this, please?

The above is the link to my game. It is an Adult rated game, and old. Originally, it ran for a while til players dropped off, restarted with a new group which later died off and now back with one original player and two new players. Overarching storyline has been about a plague released on the city and what the players are going to do while its spread has not yet overrun the city. The city is large though, and other groups/players could have other things they want to do, while the main storyline progresses in the background.

The game is set in a city, though players are not forced to remain in the city. Neither do new players have to join up with the existing group. New players can form their own group or just do solo play.

I do my best to keep the game interesting, and will work on posts a minimum of 2-3 times per week. More if the players are more active, less if they are less active. I tend to run the game story-based, with the focus on the characters rather than character sheets or specific rules. I do use D&D 5e rules to resolve some actions and take care of some behind the scenes things, but I'm trying to minimize outright use of the rules so players can focus on their character and enjoy the game more rather than worry about game mechanics.

I can go rules-heavy for those wanting to learn 5e rules and have no problem teaching people new to D&D and/or 5e. Just let me know when you request to join.
