if you agree with the above explication of how illusion works. I would like to play a gnome illusionist in your game.

if you are not using dnd 3.5 rule set...(or one that is seamlessly compatible with it) please do not respond to this posting.

I want to play a doomed character. (roleplay over roll-play)
I have a passing familiarity with Forgotten Realms, but I could run a game in my homebrew setting if you'd be interested. I like the concept you want to explore and I think that would be interesting and fun for both of us.

Send me an Rmail if you're interested, along with whatever WOTC resources you're thinking you'd need. I've always tried to help players create the character they are visualizing in their mind.

Almost all of my 3.0/3.5 edition D&D books are gone, but I've got the basics for 5th edition and those rules, IMO, make it easier to focus on role vs. roll playing.
