Song of Swords

So, a recent release to the world of tabletop rpgs, Song of Swords is a system inspired by the fantastic and hyper realistic Riddle of Steel. For those of you not in the know, Riddle of Steel has been lost to the ages and numerous various systems have come about using the same dice pool mechanics and Song of Swords is the latest.

Right off the bat, Song of Swords is a low fantasy setting, where magic exists but isn't a major player in the general politics and world at large. Elves and dwarves exist, as do goblins, and players can end up seeing all manner of beasts (though not in the current core book if you were wondering). For all intents and purposes, this is a system that focuses on tactical planning and skill rather than the raw luck of rolling a die and being just incredibly more powerful ala D&D. Wounds compound and a battle can be won simply by tiring your opponent out enough for them to be unable to defend themselves, or wounding them just enough to leave them bleeding out. Death is swift, and mistakes are costly.

So, I'm hoping to find someone who has the core rules like I do and wants to run some adventures in the land of Vosca. I can see a lot of potential for some fun things to occur with the right group, but unfortunately I personally don't have the time to run a campaign.

Any takers?
