I think this would be more fun than an evidence locker full of glazed donuts, especially if it were set during the late 70s/early 80s.

I've been toying with the idea of running a game set in the modern day where the characters are newly graduated boots from the LAPD Academy, just starting to ride with the Field Training Officers.
