Chapter 1

Nori watched as her attack successfully hit Sigmund and struck him down into the dirt. She jumped a few feet back before she saw him lean up and charged another lighting ball in his hands, sending it her way and knocking her off her feet. She lowly grunted and gritted her teeth before she did a back flip and skidded back in the dirt. "Good hit, Siggy," she said with a smirk as she wiped a little blood away from the corner of her mouth. Let's see if he can dodge this she thought silently to herself before she kneaded the necessary chakra she was going to use in her body before she formed a small circle with her index finger and thumb and put it to her mouth. "Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!" In saying that, she expelled a massive orb of roaring flame from her mouth

Yamada rolled 17 using 1d20 + 1 to execute a ninjutsu attack.

Akitoki rolled 17 using 1d20 + 3 to execute a counterattack.

Tie breaker roll does not occur due to opponent choosing to counterattack rather than dodge.

Chapter 1

Sigmund had quickly gotten up as his lightning ball had made an opening to get up as she was struck with it. She had praised him as she wiped away some blood from the corner of her lip so he knew he had this won perhaps.

He didn't celebrate just yet as she made very familiar hand signs and it was confirmed when he saw the fire ball jutsu heading his way. He took a deep breath and signed the Dragon - Tiger - Hare. "Water Style: Raging Waves!" he shouted as water gushed out from his mouth like a waterfall and extinguished her fireball jutsu. When his water jutsu and her fire jutsu collided, a sizzling sound could be heard as a white cloud of smoke disabled their vision for a moment.

Chapter 1

Nori's eyes widened slightly when she saw Sigmund had extinguished her fireball jutsu attack with a water one. What? Damn. That's impossible. How did he- It was in thinking that that she realized that this might be a little bit harder than she anticipated. Obviously fire jutsus weren't going to cut it. It looked like she was going to have to stick to what she knew best, but...she may just have a few extra tricks up her sleeve that might work. When she saw the flame go out and the smoke rise, she used that as a distraction as for what she was going to do next. She got up from the floor and took off into the white cloud of smoke. Nori skidded in front of her teammate and crouched down onto the ground, placing her hands on the dirt surface and lifting her leg up to deliver a kick to his face.

Chapter 1

[Akitoki Sigmund rolled 13 using 1d20+3; Ninjutsu attack]

Sigmund had easily executed his water jutsu and put her flames to a sudden halt. He honestly loved that sizzling sound water and fire made when they came into contact. His vision was at a loss for a few seconds. He waited for the smoke to thin out, but then he saw her charging right at him. He had braced himself as she came at him from under him with a good kick directed at his face. He was able to use his arm to stop her leg from kicking him. He grabbed her ankle and held on, trying to give her a basic shock in her leg to immobilize her from his hands.

Chapter 1

Nori thought her attack would have been successful with the small opening she had to deliver a strike to Sigmund's face, but she was caught off guard when she felt him grab her ankle and deliver a shock to her leg. "Ugh!" she uttered and shut one eye, wincing from the attack before she attempted to take it away from his grasp but finding it to nearly impossible to do at this point. She didn't want to admit defeat, but she may have to this time. She just stared into Sigmund's eyes and glared at him. "Dammit! Okay. Let go! You got this one!"

Chapter 1

He had continued to emit shocks from his hand as she tried to struggle away to no avail. He held on as long as he could until she finally told him to let get and admitted defeat to his face. He smirked and immediately let her ankle go, the electricity shutting off from his hands. He was positive she would be feeling the after effects from his shocks just for a bit longer only because he had shocked her for more than a few seconds of time. His smirk remained. He looked right down at her. "I told you that you couldn't keep up with me. Now you know who's stronger," he teased and began dusting himself off from the dirt blow he had taken earlier. he did have to admit himself, it was interesting while it lasted. She managed to only land a single blow to him just to knock him down but that was nothing he thought.

Chapter 1

When Sigmund finally let go of her leg, Nori pulled her leg back and scooted back as she held onto her ankle. Dammit. How could she lose to him? She definitely had some work she needed to do. Next time she wouldn't lose. "Fine. You beat me. This time, but next time will be different," she said with a solemn face before she got up from the ground with her good leg, stumbling slightly from the numbness that she felt from the shock of the other. She turned her head away and looked down to the ground as she steadied herself against the tree. She didn't like admitting to losing, especially to a boy. It left a bad taste in her mouth. He didn't seem like the kind of guy that would continuously gloat about this after a long time...right? "You're good. I'll give you that, Siggy. I'll be better prepared next time."

Chapter 1

Akuma was keeping his focus on Nanami and watching her training method. Honestly he was slightly impressed by her ability to perform it. Then he became distracted once he saw his other two students sparring each other. At first he was content in watching them. He thought that it would be a good way to determine their strengths and weaknesses. Then they both performed rather large Jutsu's. He clapped for Nanami quickly and looked at her.

"You may stop for now. I am impressed by your skills. Now let's go stop this before either of them make a mistake." Once he had finished he ran across the lake and jumped landing next to the two young ninja.

"Honestly, you both are rather skilled for your age."

Chapter 1

Nanami stops, she is sweating profusely. She looked over and saw the end of the sparring match between Nori and Sigmund. But at the moment she was to tired to do much else. Nanami used her remaining chakra to lay down on top of the water and rest. Nanami kept her eyes and ears at attention as their Sensei went over to see if things were ok between her two other teammates. She mumbles something to herself "That would hav been more fun then this." She seemed to be almost pouty in her exhausted state.

She stares up into the sky, wondering what to do next. Or waiting to see what their Sensei would have them do next. She attempts to weave a small bird out of wind chakra. But it fades "I will get this down at some point." She says quietly. Her head tilts back to Sigmund and Nori. Nanami watches curiously, wondering what will happen next.

-(Side-note, the small bird reference. Is referencing the next jutsu she is working on.)-

Chapter 1

Sigmund just smirked as she commented that she would beat him next time. Next time I'll be even stronger. He thought over. He walked with her just to be sure was okay and then eventually when he saw she would be fine, he jumped and pulled his kunai out of the tree branch he had thrown earlier. He put them back in his satchel and as he did, their sensei came up to them. He probably thinks we actually hurt each other, he thought over as the sensei had ran from the water and jumped beside them. Their sensei complimented their skills and Sigmund was pleased.

"Thanks," was all he muttered out and faced him. "Now what do we do? When's the training begin?" he asked, ready to actually begin. His eyes looked passed his sensei at that point, and noticed Nanami sitting on the water's surface and had attempted to form some sort of bird. He just eyed it for now and looked back at Kenji-sensei waiting for further instructions.

Chapter 1

After steadying herself against the tree for a short while longer, Nori took a few steps forward just to make sure that she was able to walk. She turned herself and looked over at Sigmund that was walking beside her. Was it just to make sure she was okay? It looked like he could be considerate when it wanted to be. She was just about to say thank you when she heard their sensei's voice, causing her to turn her head and look over to Kenji that was now beside them. When the compliment sad given to the both of them, she smiled and did her best to stand properly in front of him. "Thank you, sir. I appreciate the compliment. I will continue to do my best," she said with a bowing of her head.

Chapter 1

Akuma smiled and caught Nanami's jutsu out of the corner of his eye. These three seemed to have a lot of talent that he didn't know about. So he was just going to have to get down to the bottom of it the hard way. He looked to Sigmund and smirked.

"Training starts now actually." Then he looked over to Nanami and shouted. " Come back to land! We have more work to do if you want a mission by tomorrow!"

He jumped back and landed on  the branch the previously held Nori. Waiting for his students to regroup.

Chapter 1

Nanami looks over at him "And here I thought I might get a few minutes rest after tiring myself out." She shrugs and bring a hand up, she then vanishes and appears on a branch above Akuma. She swings down, hanging from the branch with her legs "So whats the training Sensei?" She asked in a somewhat tired and low voice "I hope your not expecting another five minute training like I just did."

Chapter 1

He looked up at Nanami and then back down to the other two. He really didn't have much in terms of training exercises, but he would figure something out. He furrowed his brow and took a deep breath in concentrating on all that he had gathered about the students this far. Then he took that information and formed a challenge about it. He smirked then jumped down to the ground.

"If you want a mission by tomorrow you all have to pass a simple challenge. I assume the three of you are up for the task?"

Chapter 1

Nanami looks at him and grins "You know instead of asking, maybe just tell us. Its not like we are going to say no, when you tell us we won't get a mission if we don't.." She sticks her tongue out and uses a finger to pull down her lower eyelid, making a silly face at Akuma. After which she swings herself back up to a sitting position, pulling out a piece of candy and eats it as she waits to see what will happen next..

Oddly she thinks about what will happen next a lot. Rather it be a hypothetical situation or a situation that had already taken place. Nanami's thumbs rotate around themselves, and her legs swing freely. Making sure of course not to hit Akuma.

Chapter 1

Sigmund looked right at his sensei when he mentioned a simple challenge. "I'm ready, sensei. Just give me the word and I'll do it," he eagerly said and waited for a response. Although their sensei mentioned the simple, he had a gut feeling it was going to be much harder than what was said. Hmph. No matter, I'll get this done like it's an E-rank mission. he thought over and waited for further instruction.

Chapter 1

Nori watched as Kenji jumped up onto the branch that she was on not too long ago and although she still felt a small tingling sensation in her leg, she stood upright and hobbled over a few steps towards the tree. When they were asked if they were ready for a challenge, she smiled. Finally! We're gojng to get started she thought silently and clenched her hand into a fist at her side. She looked over at Sigmund. She was going to get better and better him one day. He would see. "Bring on the challenge, sensei," she said and turned her attention back to Kenji. "What's it going to be?"

Chapter 1

He hopped down from the branch he was sitting on and landed next to Nori. He smirked to himself and looked over his students again. He knew two things. The first was that his students were very eager to work. The second was that they were going to sweat. He tunred so that all three could hear him clearly.

" I think that we are going to start fairly easy. I honestly think that a simple kunai recovery test or a chakara control test is below the three of you. So I am going to as the three of you to follow me. There is a small building here withing the village meant for more elaborate tests and training exercises."

With that he began to walk away towards the building he had just mentioned.

Chapter 1

Sigmund looked at him in confusion. Well his sensei was right about one thing: a simple kunai or chakra control exercise was way below their skill level. They needed something better; they needed more of a challenge. Kenji-sensei mentioned a building inside the village where he planned to have them begin. Sigmund tried to pond over such a building, but he didn't remember any such building was in the village. He let a slight frown appear on his face and quietly followed Kenji-sensei, with or without his teammates. On his way to following Kenji, he picked up his coat and shirt from the dirt, dusting it off along the way.

Chapter 1

Nanami swings down and flips to the ground. Her hands plant and she pushes herself off and to a standing pose. She keeps up with Sigmund and Akuma "The only building like that, that I can recall would be the ANBU training hall.. They had one in the Sand village. I got to watch Mother and Uncle practice. They are amazing. But I want to be the best.. period. So I am aiming a bit high. But I want to be better then both of them combined."

Nanami smiles brightly as it seemed like she was recalling a good memory. Her ponytail swings from side to side, she starts humming, waiting to reach the destination they were going to find.

Chapter 1

Nori watched Kenji landed beside her and blinked at him, listening to him speak about a building that was in the village that they were going to training in. She hadn't remembered such a place being in the village. With as much training as she did, she would have heard of a place like that, but she wasn't about to ponder over that now. If it was going to help her get stronger then she was going to do it. "Lead the way, sensei!" she said in an enthusiastic voice and a clutched fist as she followed in step with Sigmund. She clasped her hands behind her back and looked over at her teammate. "I bet you're really excited to start real training, huh, Siggy?"

Chapter 1

Akuma listened as the three genin followed behind him. He wandered for a while before coming to a rather residential looking building. That's because the building they had arrived to was none other than the home of their sensei. With permission from their Hokage he had built a large room under his house for him to train in and practice his crystal jutsu without disrupting the village. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a key before unlocking the door. As he opened it he turned around to the three.

"I'm going to ask that you do your best not to touch or break anything. I've spent quite a while gathering and collecting all of the items that are in here. Most of them are mementos from missions. I'd give you a tour, but you're here to train."

As he finished he turned back around and disappeared inside.

Chapter 1

Sigmund had followed with the group and they came to a large building practically in the middle of the village. It was huge! Sigmund was surprised how big it was because it was as big as the Hokage's building. The sensei had warned them not to touch anything or break anything because he had valuable items inside. Although Sigmund was a curious guy sometimes, he knew when to respect his teachers' wishes. He had nodded his head and followed pursuit and went wide eyed when he came inside.

It was incredible. All the items, all the glory; there were high value things here and he definitely wanted to touch or even ask about all his sensei's stories, but their sensei pointed they were here to train, not explore or get a tour. It dawned on Sigmund that this was definitely where their sensei lived.
