Chapter 2.9: Showdown

Jonin:

Fujii Sima [D]

Miyamoto Aria [B]

Hayama Kaji [C]

Rikumaru Jin [A]

Yamachi Kotenzu [E]

VS Mysterious Man and clones.

The five of you are concerned for the kage's life at stake.

It is your job to rescue each of the kage's by defeating the opponents in front of you.

You will all take turns.

Example:
Character A rolls and attacks first.
Man will roll and defend and attack.
Character A needs to roll to see if the attack lands.
Character B rolls and attacks.
Same process with every player.

The order of who goes first is based off of which village you are from. Jin will start the post first.

Chapter 2.9: Showdown

Sima was surprised to see Kotatsu standing there before them. He was prepared to attack and those dark whisps that emitted off of the boy wasn't a good sign. With the threat of wanting to kill Sigmund was heard loud and clear, Sima had to step in. "The final match hasn't started yet. Wait your turn, genin. Know your place," he strictly said, placing a hand on Kotatsu's shoulder with a bit of a grip. This guy was bad news and there was no telling what this kid could do. "Sigmund needs rest. You'll fight him tomorrow," he added. He felt something. A disturbance in the air. Something was going to happen. Something bad.

Next thing he knew, Kotatsu barked at him that nobody touches him, and his hand was grabbed with such a grip and then he was thrown to the stadium walls. Kotatsu had believed that was the last of Sima, however he couldn't have been more wrong. When Sima was flown to the walls, a puff of white smoke had triggered and Sima was no longer there. He was prepared for the attack, which allowed him to perform a clone jutsu at the last minute as he was thrown.

He had reappeared within the stands, when all hell broke lose. Kotatsu had performed a special clone jutsu, summoning more than a hundred Kotatsu clones all across. Citizens screamed for their dear life, children were crying, and everyone was rushing to escape. Then suddenly, a man in a black cloak had summoned a rather unusual jutsu, entrapping all the kages, the most powerful beings from the great five shinobi lands. At the last minute, Sima, and 4 other Jonin leaders had rushed into the black vortex just before it was sealed away. All they could see was pure darkness. The kages had already been tied down and heavily guarded by clones of the mysterious man, more likely the same jutsu Kotatsu cast.

The man had killed the Daimyo from the Land of Snow and had planned to decapitate the other 5 kages, until Sima stepped in, drawing attention. The cries from the stands are what motivated him to hurry up and execute this last minute rescue mission. The sky was dark and awfully very grey. It wasn't looking good in the slightest. Him and the 4 outher Jonin leaders were going to have to work together to save the kages before it was too late. "You're not going to get away with this, I hope you know that," he told the man, whether it was the real man or not, was to be unknown. However Sima was going to do whatever it took to save the kages, even if his life depended on it.

Chapter 2.9: Showdown

Kaji was seated on a ledge on the upper tiers of the arena. He seemed to be enjoying the match. The leaf ninja went back and forth for several exchanges. This kept the boy interested. Many people don't take Kaji to serious since he is only a few years older then most of the Genin in the tournament. This also allowed him to slack a little bit more when he didn't have a mission or team to deal with. As the match ended the boy Kotatsu interjected himself and threw the proctor into a wall. This caused Kaji to move closer. Then all the clones appear. This however if he thought to himself could be easily dealt with.

Unfortunately, the man that Kaji had a run in with in front of his Kage none-the-less. Suddenly appeared and cast a powerful, dark jutsu. Just the sight of the man pissed Kaji off "Tch, he dares show his face here. I knew allowing them into the exams was a bad idea. So I'll just use the armor that the Kage told me to keep sealed, except for dire situations. I call this a dire situation."

Kaji leaps from point to point. His speed was above par for anyone his age. As Kaji makes his way down, he removes a seal on the one actual blade he carried. From the blade a dark chakra erupts and encases Kaji in a purple translucent armor. The boy lands next to Fuji and he looks at the man "My first impressions of you was right, I should have killed you then. Guess now is just as good of a time as any to correct my mistake." His hand raises and an arc of blades forms above the boy. He was preparing to wipe the man from the earth.

Chapter 2.9: Showdown

Jin had watched the final fight between the genin with interest and noted how both of them fought. He stepped forward and grasped the rail tightly as the genin attacked the proctor and shifted in surprise as the mysterious man appeared and threatened the kage. From the brief words between the stranger and the Daimyo it was clear that the situation was very dangerous and he body flickered towards the Hokage even as the smoke from the clones began to dissipate.

As Jin appeared within attacking range of the stranger he noticed Sima and one of the Rock jonin land next to him in his peripheral vision though spared no time for chatter as he leaped high. His hands flashed through the signs of Dragon-> Tiger-> Hare as he appeared to take a large breath. "Earth Style: Rock Trumpet" Jin raised his right fist to his mouth and breathed out a torrent of rock and stone that flowed through his fist and rapidly expanded into a cloud of solid rock aiming to crush the stranger or at least distract him to grant the other captain an opportunity to attack.  Strangely the rock appeared to flow like water yet was no softer or less damaging than regular stone and created an impact crater as it landed. After the first attack was released he dropped to the ground preparing to use his next technique depending on how the other captain responded.

Chapter 2.9: Showdown

I know you all did not get the opportunity to fight, my apologies on that. However with the impatience of most, we need to get it moved along. I do take full responsibility in the event of the multiple haitus status over this game.

Sigmund watched the events unfold. He gritted his teeth has he was trying to stop Kotatsu from striking Nori, but he was too late. Kotatsu had disappeared for Nori's attack to completely missed and that was it. Nori went flying to the ground and rolled away from the trio. She couldn't even get up and that struck something inside him. "This is getting out of hand. You will not hurt anymore of them!" he shouted and lunged forward. He didn't think twice. He knew he should've coordinated with Nanami, but he was being too stubborn and irrational.

Kotatsu didn't hesitate to act. It was a clash between the two boys. Kunai knives clinked and clanged together. The two girls could only see small glimpses of the physcial confrontation between the two men. If anything, Sigmund was losing and they could see it, but he didn't give up. His retractable bones broke one by one as he grew more exhausted. Punch after punch, kick after kick, and small drips of blood could be seen from where they use to be seconds ago. As Sigmund threw his final punch, Kotatsu had manged to place a paper bomb on his side. Sigmund's eyes grew wider, and then a loud explosion could be heard throughout the entire stadium. Civilians screamed out of panic, battles halted as Kotatsu's clones disappeared. All eyes were on the explosion from down below with the fire village trio.

Clouds of dirt filled the arena and blocked the views of many, no eyes on Sigmund. Debris flew to the stands, striking some and missing many. Fire began to spread around quickly with the wind from the mountains blowing it everywhere. The stadium began to catch fire and quickly began burning the remains of it.
