I recently discovered the ability to tell my browser to not dowload images except over wifi. This has helped immensely for visiting image heavy sites, however, there is no whitelist for it, so now I don't see the little images that flag threads with new posts.

So I thought it would be helpful if either the thread name would color when there are new posts, just like with forum/game names, or perhaps use a different color for the little "new" link after the forum name that goes to the new posts.

(making those links bigger would also be nice for us finger only touchscreen users)

Just checking ... you do realise that the "new" link after the thread name only shows when there are new posts ?  To me, if the "new" link appears then that'd be my clue, and it wouldn't add anything if the thread name/link was in a different colour ... but your and others' mileage may vary.  :>

That is true, but it blends in very well, thus you have to really look for it, zoom in so it is readable and all that. With a different color however, the splash of color stands out, instantly drawing the eye thus bypassing any need to zoom in and read the links after each thread name.

Wondering if it'd be useful to be able to Filter on new posts (same way you can filter on groups), if that were possible, either instead of colours or as well as ?

That sounds like a solid idea.

I would also like to be able to check a box and have it filter out the chosen the thread(s).

If it helps, you can click the "PopUp Your Sticky List" link at the bottom of the page.  On that Tab, games with new public posts are underlined while games with new PMs are in italics.

I've never tried it with a Mobile Device, so I'm not sure how well the pop-up function works there.
