I'm looking for players interested in a Star Trek: Adventures (by Modiphius games) game set in The Original Series (TOS) era.  The game will be set between the end of the original series (yes, including The Animated Series) and the beginning of Star Trek: The Motion Picture.

I noticed the Mature flag on this game. Will it feature Tarantino-esque violence, like Discovery? Or is there a different reason for the flag? I was ready to sign on, until I saw the flag. Thanks!

I turned it on by accident is all.  The content will be no more racy than a 70's era television show.  Any intimate liaisons with alien ladies (or lads) will take place off-screen after a fade to black and no any violence will be relatively bloodless.

No worries.  I watched the first two episodes of Discovery, but it didn't really interest me.  There were the seeds of a really good ST series there, but they got lost in all of the flash and thunder IMO.  And my judgment is in no way a bash of Discovery.  I realized ages ago that Star Trek is different things to different people and which series got you into it is very much a part of that.

I love ST enough that I'll almost certainly go back and watch it for completeness sake at some point, but I don't want to have to pay for something that I'm only watching begrudgingly.  :P

Alright, I've started getting some RTJ, so I'll begin to look them over in the next few days after I've got a nice grouping built up.

Since several folks have said they aren't familiar with the new system, I'll put a link to the free Quickstart guide from Modiphius.  It gives a good, basic run-down of the rules.  It also includes some pre-generated characters if someone wanted to just file the serial numbers off and move some points around, I'm good with that too.

We'll be using the TOS uniforms, not the beige and gray pajamas from TMP.  At least until fashion catches up with us.  Call it one of the advantages of being light years away from Earth.  ;)

As I've gotten older, I've found that my appreciation of TMP has grown and it steadily creeps up on my list of favorite movies.  I'll never regard the TMP uniforms (with the exception of the Admiral's uniform) with anything more than "Meh" though.

Many thanks for all of the submissions and I've started to go through them now and make some offers and decisions.

If you haven't heard from me yet, don't despair!  There are still positions open, it's just taking me some time to sort through them.   My hope is to get everyone a response (even it it's a negative one) by the end of this week.
