The things you see in a Graveyard...
Colma, California is a fairly average American small town, all things considered. The 1600 or so residents all know each other, they wave when they pass, and they share the local gossip over mugs of coffee in the town diner. Summer gets a little hotter every year, but the sea breeze keeps all but the stodgiest old-timers from complaining overmuch. And the teenagers are bored. Despite the fact that San Francisco is situated only a half-hour's drive away, there are few tourists. It's sleepy, really, which is rather strange for a California town.
Of course, that might be because 1.5 million of the 2.2 square mile town's residents reside six feet underground.
Something strange is afoot in America's Necropolis. Recently, a number of the local children have reported odd noises and sights in the town's 17 graveyards. More worrying, some of those same children have gone missing. The harried Colma Sheriff asserts that children run away from small towns all the time, but that does little to reassure the bereaved parents.
Yes, strange adventure lurks beyond the cemetery gates in the sleepy California town. Join us for a rules-light, fun-forward coming-of-age adventure full of morbid whimsy, existential horror, magic, mayhem, the power of friendship, and about 600% more ghosts per capita than the next leading competitor. As the sign on the edge of town says, "It's great to be alive in Colma!"
