Just checking to see if there would be any interest in a game set in the 80s using the Mighty Protectors rules from Monkey House Games (aka Villains & Vigilantes 3.0). Players would be up-and-coming heroes who are new to the gig, but earnest in their drive to make the world a better place. I cannot rule out the possibility of using some old V&V materials I have laying about.

The year is 1985. Super-beings have been around a long time. In ancient times, some were worshipped as gods. The heroes are youngsters who are the descendants of mystery men and women who served in World War II. Each player, in addition to designing a unique hero, will also outline a tie to the mystery men of the early 1940s. They may be direct descendants, inspired by such a hero, or even, with the right powers, they may be a hero from that era.

Heroes may be created by random means or by using the rules for point buy. This game will be intended for all ages and younger players are welcome. Come with us back to a time when the Cold War still raged, before the Internet and Facebook, before smartphones; a simpler time when the future looked bright and anything seemed possible!

Definitely would be interested in this. V&V was my first exposure to heroic gaming.... interested to see how far it’s come. :)

Pretty wild, I used the name Knight Sky for a cyborg character in a RPG.net Mighty Protectors game. :-)
