Interest Check: Forgotten Futures

I used to play and run a lot of PbP on another site, and the itch has hit me again. I'm especially interested in using the Forgotten Futures (http://www.forgottenfutures.com) system, for a sort of Victorian/Edwardian science fantasy. Ideally, I'd run something episodic, rather than epic, so there are natural breaking points if people want to drop out and be replaced.

The game would be set in the late 1800's, in a steampunk alternate history. It would be focused on a group of adventurers and explorers roaming the globe and encountering the wonders of the Orient, lost civilizations in the heart of Darkest Africa, the ruins of Atlantis, and maybe even the canal-builders of Mars.

The system itself is rules-light, simple, and focused on investigation and problem solving. Combat is deadly, but is usually a last resort. All the rules are free, so there's no need to invest in books.

Does this sound interesting to anyone?

I may be interested; it sounds very much like "Jules Verne: the RPG," and I can definitely get behind that.

Yeah, it kind of is. Babbage Engine is its own skill, and it has stats for the Martian heat rays and black smoke from War of the Worlds.
