Exalted Mush 3e: Tales of A Dreaming Sea!

Long ago, the Exalted Host was created to cast down the tyrannical primordials. Forged by the power of the primordials' spurned brother Autochthon, the Exaltation allowed the nominally subservient gods to grant power to mortals to bypass the restriction on harming primordials themselves. War raged, and some primordials were slain while most were maimed and imprisoned within the massive body of their king. As primordials fell however, their death cries fueled a great and terrible curse. That the Exalted should be maddened, each of them in a manner appropriate to their greatest strengths. Not knowing this The Unconquered Sun, king of the gods, gave Creation to the host to be ruled. While a great empire sprang up it fell in time as the manifest madness of the curse drove the terrestrial exalted to depose their worse-off masters, the solar and lunar exalted.

Time passed, and the holdings of the terrestrial exalted were diminished. Secrets both grand and dark were forgotten from that first age, and the terrestrial exalted could not match the solars' acumen to maintain their wonders. Indeed as the terrestrial shogunate that sprang up in place of what became known as the old realm, dark powers gathered strength. A realm of undeath was created with the wartime deaths of primordials, the cycle of reincarnation they created never designed to hold them. Empowering select few of the ghosts of slain solars to act for them, the dread deathlords were created. Inviting the chaotic creatures from beyond reality known as the raksha to strike at creation in revenge while they themselves unleashed a terrifying plague, it seemed creation was done for.

It was not until the sidereal exalted, instigators of the first age's end, wove a fate to elevate one woman to take control of an ancient weapon that Creation would be able to breathe easily. Using the Sword of Creation to repel the hordes of chaos, she named herself the Scarlet Empress and established the Realm. But now... She has disappeared leaving the Realm's great houses of terrestrial exalted in conflict and disarray. On top of this, the solar exaltations have been unleashed upon the world once more and the lunars chased from the world to the edges of chaos are returning. Other strange forms of exaltation have been sighted, adding layers and layers to Creation's matters in the Second Age: The Age of Sorrows.

What is a Mush?

A mush is a chat based RPG with a persistent world which is connected to via a telnet or mush client. The server we use features fully supported die rollers, and scene logging. I would personally recommend the MUSHClient found here: http://www.gammon.com.au/mushclient/mushclient.htm
