Glad to be here.  I've been watching the Wheel of Time series on Amazon, and I enjoyed it quite a bit but I was surprised how mad I was about the changes the first season made to the plot of the books (what I can remember of them).  I'm working on the second season now, and I'm told it's much better.

Never saw it but wanting to. Been awhile since I read the books. Plus copying the books can be a drag sometimes. Read quite a few of them. I watch the Walking Dead and def they branched off of the comics lol. I don't understand why they have Perrin married.

Yeah I do not remember him being married in the books, until he meets Faile.  Also there's weird Perrin/Egwene nonsense.  Like it's impossible to be friends with girls.

Heck Rand had what 3 wives? lol

Didn't know bout Perrin/Egwene. Perrin was pretty quiet for awhile. I liked him.

The tension between Perrin and Egwene is implied, not really shown or discussed.  There's a fight that the core group has when they're all exhausted and stressed, and Rand is hurting that Egwene plans to leave him to go to the white tower.  He says something like "I should have known.  Egwene and I didn't get together until the day after Perrin was married."  And then Nynaeve says "I'm sick of you two fighting over her like she's a prize to be won!" and then realizes she's said something that she can never take back.

It's dumb, and I shouldn't care, but it pissed me off.

I should start reading the books again.....

That's a herculean task for sure.  Although I'm told the audiobooks are very well done, so that might be something to consider.
