In reply to Boris Underhill (msg # 257):

Making sure everyone is up and alright, then at his hammer.

"Well, I think we need to find new weapons  I have only heard rumors of such creatures lurking deep in caverns, and dank areas.  I guess this qualifies as one of those places."

Taking along sip of wine.
"Anyone else need a quick sprucing up?"

Ondreas' leg has seen better days as it looks as if she has several burns from where the creature had latched onto her.

In reply to Ondrea Avalor (msg # 260):

"Let me see that leg."
Putting his wine skin away.
"You dont think the creature can slide it's way up here, do you?"

Carefully inspecting the wound.
"Yep, look sbad, and could get worse.  Let me see if any of the gods will answer my prayers."

"Gods I am a servant of Thee, please hear my plea.  Help heal her leg."
He gently has placed his hands on Ondrea's leg.

In reply to Stoney Applesmith (msg # 261):

Boris nodded in sympathy, crossing himself.

"I could tell there was something wrong and accursed with all that treasure.

"Anyone who might have picked some up and put it in your purse with the rest of your coins, I suggest you carefully have a look inside. Carefully."

OOC: How are you three holding up?  I fear we may have lost Larz as he has not been on since the beginning of last month.  I may have to NPC him along for awhile longer.

:(   Thats the nature of PbP games. I hope he is alright.  I bet something awesome happened, like he won the lottery, or had a baby, or something great.  Thats why he hasn't posed!

I'm doing all right! I'm dealing with a lot less free time because of my kid, and I volunteer with an RPG company (Timeline) so that has sucked up a lot of my free time. Thanks for asking,

In reply to The Powers That Be (msg # 268):

OOC:

We are!

Boris said, "to sum it up, we have searched this underground temple complex fairly completely.

"Overall, we were asked to track down the Saracens who attacked the town. We followed their back trail and made a random choice when the path split. We followed that for a couple days, then found this temple, but no more Saracens.

"Possibly we took the wrong path, or at least not the path to their camp. Instead, we found this temple, which I believe might be a shrine to their foul God, "Allah", and may God have mercy on all those who worship that perverted deity!

"There was also some Fairy village we found a little ways off in the forest, overgrown yet with belongings strangely untouched.

"So, do we continue onwards? Or return? I believe there is little more we can learn here, unless there are doors and passages we have yet to traverse."

In reply to Boris Underhill (msg # 269):

"I am at a loss where to go next.  Possibly some time meditating and praying is in order.  But not here, I want to make sure we aren't anywhere near that black ooze."
Pulling up his hammer.
"Look at what it did to solid metal!"
His hammer has some of the head eaten away.

Lets return to the village and regroup perhaps they have more information or if there is another attack we can try to find a prisoner. Either way we should leave before the ooze thing climbs up those walls."

In reply to Ondrea Avalor (msg # 271):

"Yes, we should depart here. Once we get back to the port we may know more!"

He started backtracking to the altar room.

"We did track one set of footprints coming this way. Do you suppose the black ooze got him?"

Once it became obvious that they had explored everywhere they could, Boris conceded they'd done all they could.

"By all means, let's return to the town where we started. Let us forget the empty town we found in the forest and simply return to Captain Rasmir in... you know, I can't recall what that place is called. Nonetheless, let's depart.

"Back south through the accursed swamp! Unless we wish to strike west towards the coastal road, then follow that?:

Slinging her backpack over her arm Ondrea said "Agreed, lets get going and hopefully we will be back before night fall." She did not believe the last statement but she was sure she wanted to leave this place.

Shaking a now empty wineskin.

"Ok, lets take the route which gets us to town the quickest.  This place is boring me!"

Rummaging through his pack, before slinging it.

"Ahh, I knew you were in there!"

Popping the top off his newly found wineskin.
"Refreshing!"
As he drinks some.

"I think west to the road is quicker than south through the swamp. Once we get to the road we can take that to Strange Port. Trust me, I know a thing or two about travel."

Boris shouldered his backpack and commenced walking west towards the coastal road.
