The Northern Passage
In reply to Stoney Applesmith (msg # 107):
Checking his knapsack, Boris shook his head.
"Alas, no. I had a friend who was fond of getting some mates together and exploring old ruins, caverns, temples and dungeons, looking for anything to loot or steal. He always carried a pile and wore a backpack with a coil of rope, a ladder, two weeks of "iron rations" (whatever those are), spikes, pitons, lamp oil, tinderbox, a lantern, torches, crowbar, hammer, and a waterskin. He looked so foolish! But now I wish he were here."
