Be Still, Oh Silent Night
In reply to Stoney Applesmith (msg # 76):
Taking his turn with the flask Boris agreed with Stoney. "There are many other Pagan gods out there. According to the Church most are demons posing as deities to deceive the unwary while some are true and holy. I wager your Pelor is the latter. But Jehovah is the one true God. Jesus Christ the Redeemer was his only begotten son, who died to forgive our sins, crucified by Pontius Pilate on Golgotha. You look scholarly; i you wish to know more, I can lend you my bible to read.
"I'm not particularly bothered by Pagans, just so you know. not like some people. I have traded among the various heathen peoples like elves, dwarfs, other halflings, and so on.""
He seemed a little embarrassed by Larz's point. "Like any sensible traveller I would normally travel during the day. But I took a short-cut from the King's road on a game trail I know of to save some time and got lost in the forest. I was trying to find my way when night fell and a fog set in. Then those things attacked out of nowhere. I thought they were maybe brigands but much to my surprise they turned out to be goblins! They have been banished or cleansed from most Christian lands for several generations now so that was quite a shock, let me tell you! And the big ones, something seemed odd about them, with that black blood. Some kind of dark sorcery or devilry is afoot around here.
"And again, where is "here"?"
