Life as a part of the Willowshade Circle has not been uneventful  you have worked with other hopeful some of your occasional patients are primary school aged, sone others are hunters in their 50s currently youve got a call to come over to a personal home

Between school, volunteering at the local animal shelter, working as a part-time pet sitter and carrying out her duties as a member of the Willowshade Circle, Maeve really didn’t have time for much else. Her social life was basically nonexistent these days, but at least her adorable black pug, Valentine, kept her company. The little fella was a true friend, but he was no ordinary dog either. He had been by her side since her Blossoming, guiding the young Mender through the complexities of her new life.

Maeve headed over to the home address she has been given, unsure of what she would find there. She pedaled as fast as she could, her backpack strapped to her back since she was heading over there directly from school.

I wonder how serious this could be? I promised Valentine I would take him to the park after school, but I’m sure he will understand…

Inside  the house she can tell from  a glance the owner is a hsrdcore Otaku

Jackson An otherwise Average Joe who almost by accident has  gained the ability  to travel to the dreamlands


She sees the Little Jacob only 12 a champion of hearts  he has a Grevious wound to his leg

Maeve greeted the house owner politely before turning her attention to the young boy that needed tending to. She winced slightly as she noticed the badly wounded leg, but quickly regained her composure as she approached to take a closer look.

"Hi there. I'm Maeve and I'm here to help," she said to the young Champion, offering him a reassuring smile. "What's your name?" she asked, hoping that making some small talk would distract the boy from the pain he must be suffering.

While she spoke, she inspected the wound a bit closer to get a better sense of how bad the injury was.

"Alright Jacob. I know you are a brave boy, so just give me a few seconds and I will take care of this for you," said Maeve, offering the young Champion a smile.

With those words, Maeve set her backpack down on the floor and stood up, focusing on her Inner Light for a moment as she began to transform. The process took only a few seconds, but the young woman now appeared even more stunning than before. Her curly red hair was longer than it had been just a few seconds ago, and it was decorated with some green and vibrant leaves. Her typical college kid clothes had been replaced by an elegant green and white outfit with ivy and leaf motifs.

With a kind smile upon her lips, she kneeled down to place a hand softly on Jacob's injured leg. "Let's fix you right up!" she said, invoking the magical healing effects. She struggled at first, even though she willed the mending effects into a reality. But after a few more seconds, the restorative effects of her Charm had done the trick.

"How does that leg feel?" she asked, smiling at the boy as she removed her hand from his freshly healed leg.

“Now, can you tell me how you ended up getting hurt?” she asked, figuring that this was important information. That injury had looked rather serious, so she wanted to gather a little more information about what had happened before she got the call to come over.

"You may be young, but you are quite brave Jacob," said Maeve, offering the boy a reassuring smile. "Besides, you managed to destroy them regardless of your youth or lack of experience, and you should be proud of yourself for doing that."

"Well, if you end up getting hurt again," said Maeve to the boy. "You know how to reach me." Her smile widened slightly as she said those words.

"Anything else I can help you all with?" she asked, knowing that Valentine was likely still waiting for her at home.

"Anything I can do to pay you back? I dont have much money glad I Dont need to make up some story  to explain the wounds"

"You can promise me to be a little more careful next time?" said Maeve in response, winking at him playfully. "But joking aside, there's no need to pay me. I am a Mender, this is my calling. It is my sacred duty to provide help to those who ask for it, and to heal those that need it."

She offered him a smile after saying those words.

"Being a champion is my Calling I dont expect to br rewarded but appreciate it when it happens  wont lie"



smiles to her "Maybe I should traveel through the dreamlands a bit that way death wont be perrmanent?" Curious on idea

Maeve let out a soft chuckle at his response.

"That's fair!" she said, smiling once more at him.

When Jacob brought up traveling through the Dreamlands, she offered a slight shrug.

"I'm afraid to say that dream travel isn't my area of expertise," she said to him, blushing slightly. "I'm still fairly new at all this, and still trying to get the hang of it all, you know?"

Maeve arrived a little later than she had wanted to, but was excited to meet some others and possibly make a new friend or two. Juggling all her responsibilities really took a toll on her social life, so she was grateful to have the night off and be able to just mingle with some of the other local Hopeful. She was wearing some faded jeans, a pair of white Chuck Taylors and a cute green tank top.

She rang the doorbell and waited for the homeowner to meet her at the door.

This should be fun! she thought to herself, trying to calm some of her nerves while she waited to be let in.

The hostess smiles and says

"Friends Friends I called you here tonight for a reason 2 nights ago a White Rabbit summoned me into the Dream lamds Soon their will be another Blossoming they will be young almost as younhg as" Glances to Jacob

Maeve walked in once she was let inside, saying hello to a few familiar faces before grabbing a couple of slices of pizza for herself. She found a place to sit and enjoy the cheesy goodness on her plate, turning her attention towards the hostess as she spoke up.

She paid close attention to what was being said. An upcoming Blossoming was certainly something to be celebrated, but the risk of this young one being lured towards the Court of Mirrors was something to be concerned about. When Jacob spoke, she glanced towards him and offered the young boy a reassuring smile.

"But you resisted the temptation," she said to him in a comforting tone. "That's what matters."

Maeve turned her attention back to the hostess.

"I'm guessing we don't have any more information about this child?" she asked, wondering what would be the best approach in safeguarding this potential new Hopeful from the being lured into the false promises of this most insidious Twilight Queen.

"We of nothing but what the rabbit shared with me were goingg to have to keep watch for them and the vision indicated their transformed identity will be the opposite of their real one

A beacon by the name of Johnathon  adds in "Most likely their real gender is male then females have little reason to fantasize about being male

Maeve listened to the hostess, nodding along as she spoke.

"What would be the best way to do that?" she asked. "I'm sorry that I'm not the most experienced in these matters, but I want to lend a hand if I can."

At the comment from the Beacon, she raised an eyebrow slightly, curious as to what had prompted his words. She opened her mouth as if to speak, but decided against it in the end.

Maeve furrowed her brow at the follow up comment from Jonathan, but she decided to ignore it and focus on what was truly important.

"So just keep an ear to the ground and my eyes open, huh?" she asked, wondering if there was really more she could be doing, but then again this sort of thing definitely fell out of her area of expertise. "Training as an investigator? Umm, yeah...no, that's definitely not my forte. Need me to bandage someone up, and I'm your girl," she said, glancing over at young Jacob and offering him a smile. "But this sort of thing is just not something I'm particularly trained in or good at...I just wish there was more I could do to help!"

"If you see or hear something in your training could you inform us?" nods at thaat "Fair enough"


Another adds "Needless  to say, if you find them give us a call"

Maeve exchanged contact info with the others as requested before heading back to her dorm. When she got home and saw the email with the link, she didn't click on the link right away since she had other school work to focus on. But figured it would come in handy when she had a little more time on her hands.

When she heard of a luminous figure appearing at a local clinic after a crash, she figured it was something worth looking into and decided to head there in hopes of learning more.

OOC: She probably lives in a college dorm. Also, just wanted to clarify that Maeve volunteers at an animal shelter and is studying to be a vet. She doesn't work at a clinic where they take human patients.

Also its the clinic she heard of the report from the aparition was seen at the crash

Maeve asked around to figure out where the crash site had been, figuring that it would be best to check that place out. Once she knew of the location, she headed there as fast as she could on her bike.

Uncertain of what to do next, she dials the number of the hostess from the party, hoping they may be able to help.

"I'll get some people over straight away" she respondss sincerrely

"Thank you! I really appreciate it," says Maeve in response, glad that she's getting some help with the matter. She definitely feels way in over her head, but she wants to help! It is her duty to help when asked, so why shouldn't she?

She waits around for the other Hopeful to arrive, keeping an eye on things in case she notices anything out of the ordinary.

It took an hour but they come in "It will likely take days to narrow things down"


They start looking all the same find a few things including the models of cars involved

"Days?" asked Maeve, looking slightly concerned. "Well, if there's anything I can do to help..." she let her words trail off, feeling bad that she wasn't of much use in these circumstances.

She couldn't help but wonder if other Hopeful had abilities that would allow them to track and find the luminous figure faster, but this was not her area of expertise.

"We will have to double check Specifications for cars then check see who in town oowns  what models"

Maeve nodded as she listened to what they had to say. When asked about helping Jacob, she offered a smile in response.

"Of course! I'd be happy to buy him a bus pass or something," she said in response.

they nod "Hes a fairly good fighter but often has difficulty gettiing where he needs to go  to deal with a problem"

"Gotcha! Well, does he have a birthday coming up?" asked Maeve as she got an idea. "I can definitely help him with securing a bus pass for now, but maybe if I can save up some money I could get Jacob a bike or a skateboard or something..."

"He allready has a skateboard but is only so fast on it" tells her

"Well, I think we should do so with care," said Maeve. "They are likely going to be young and obviously inexperienced. We should be welcoming and ready to answer what questions they may have to the best of our ability." She offered a smile. "I find it that if we are friendly and nurturing, then that might be the best approach!"

"We will contact you when  the investigation is over."

Figuring she had done all she could for now, Maeve bid the other Hopeful goodbye before getting back on her bicycle and headed back to her dorm.

With the contact info on hand, Maeve sent an email to the young woman in Jacob's Nakama, hoping they might find a time to meet in person to discuss things that are best not put in an email.

I'm sure you are like super busy with law school, which I totally get!
