Useful Info for Others
  • Störtebeker can spend a Quick Action to reload all Loading weapons (that it didn't attack with that turn) at the end of the turn. This means I'm likely to alternate between turns where I Skirmish and reload and turns where I use my Loading weapon(s) for big damage. I'm definitely going to to hover around between Range 5 and Engagement range.
  • When Störtebeker crits with a non-Aux weapon it instantly reloads all Loading weapons of the opposite type (Melee/Ranged). This means I'm going to be very keen to dive into melee to chase crits, and with Duelist and Combined Arms I can pretty consistently expect +2 accuracy for a decent chance at critting.
  • Störtebeker can spend a Quick Action to attack with a Loading weapon it reloaded off the back of a crit. Combined with Roland Chamber this means that any time I get a melee crit it might be adding 4d6 damage to my output that turn.
  • Störtebeker can declare a successful hit with a non-loading weapon a crit (without the usual damage reroll) once per Scene, or four times per Scene when using its Core Power. This means that in clutch situations you can expect me to always get to fire the Bolt Thrower even when it started the turn unloaded, and in the big fights I effectively might not need to reload at all if I'm lucky.
  • This trait can instead be used to allow damage from a Loading weapon to ignore all damage reduction. That effect might see use if we run into a boss or generally tanky adversary with some kind of Resistance or other damage modifier.
  • Duelist 2 gives me a range of different ways to spend Blademaster dice (generated by landing melee hits). Depending on how close RT is I might end up using these to disengage from melee without receiving Overwatch so that I can get back into his shielded zone.
TLDR
  • Speed 5 frame, short-range build.
  • Really wants melee crits.
  • Very heavily focused on attacking. Can rarely spare actions to do anything non-combat.
  • Trait/Core Power can allow for instant reloading after a melee skirmish.

Need-to-Know
I plan to generate a lot of self Heat using the Andromeda Laser and Nuclear Cavalier.  All the Main Mounts are for utility and use with my Ammo Case.  I'll be Stabilizing when I can to build up charges for the ZF4 (It's a Quick action for me using the Redundant Systems Upgrade); all goes well I should be getting a Line 16 shot off for 5d6 Energy at least once per combat.  Until I decide to activate the Coreburn Protocol; then everything is getting blasted hard.
