Post limit of 120 consecutive characters?

In a game in which I'm a new player, I suddenly found myself unable to post to the RTJ thread in which the GM and I were conversing.

So I made a new private thread, tried to post a short paragraph, and got this message:

"You don't need over one hundred and twenty consecutive characters, do you?"

which prevents me from posting anything over that length.     Anyone know what that is, and how to shut it off?

Post limit of 120 consecutive characters?

Were there not spaces in between words or was it simply not recognizing the spaces?

Do you have a link in there? They are known to get quite big.

You had a single 'word' that exceeded 120 characters.  You cannot turn it off, just find your link, split it up, and let the GM know it's a split link, or use tinyurl.com to give a smaller url.

Re: Post limit of 120 consecutive characters?

I get it now --  it was when I attempted to paste in a long url.   Which I did then tiny-ize, and worked fine.

Thanks all for input, should have thought of it!
