Fenton

Fenton is a middle-aged halfling with a keen eye for detail and an insatiable curiosity. He is a lifelong resident of Ardentia and knows the city like the back of his hand, having spent years exploring its hidden nooks and crannies.
Fenton is well-connected within the city and has a wealth of information at his disposal. He has a network of informants who keep him abreast of the latest happenings in the city, including rumors and gossip about the recent heists. Fenton is an expert in the city's history and culture, and he can provide valuable insights into the motivations and behaviors of the city's various factions and organizations.

Despite his diminutive size, Fenton is a plucky and fearless adventurer who is always eager for new challenges. He carries a small crossbow and a wickedly sharp dagger, which he is more than capable of using if the need arises. Fenton is also an expert in the art of stealth, and he can help the party move through the city unnoticed, avoiding detection by the various criminal elements that populate the streets of Ardentia.

Fenton came to work for Lord Vandergathen after a chance encounter in a local tavern. Fenton had just arrived in Ardentia looking for work as a guide when he overheard the lord discussing his need for a knowledgeable guide to assist him with his business ventures. Impressed by Fenton's confidence and knowledge of the city, Lord Vandergathen hired him on the spot.  Fenton has been working for Lord Vandergathen for three years now, and in that time he has proven to be an invaluable asset. His knowledge of the city and its inhabitants has helped the lord navigate the complex political landscape of Ardentia, and his skills as a guide have helped the lord secure lucrative business deals.

When asked about his job, Fenton had this to say: "Working for Lord Vandergathen has been the best thing that ever happened to me. He's a shrewd businessman, but he's also fair and honest. And he pays well, too! I've seen parts of this city that most people don't even know exist, and I've made some great connections along the way. I wouldn't trade this job for anything."
