The Cobra - usually just referred to as Cobra in conversation for simplicity's sake - is in fact a mostly human-looking superhero, as she seems to be a young woman just out of her teens. She wears stylized ancient-Egyptian-style clothing and jewelry as a costume, done mostly in black and gold, with a pronounced hood and neckpiece, a bared midriff, and a long, flowing skirt. Her tanned skin tone suggests this getup might actually be in keeping with her ancestral heritage, at least if it wasn't so obviously costume-y. She has very long black hair, pretty and vaguely aristocratic features, middling height with a feminine build, and serpentine yellow eyes with vertical pupils. She usually keeps them hidden behind thick sunglasses unless she's actively doing some kind of hero work.

She's known for employing nonlethal methods, but beyond that, she hasn't made much of a name for herself yet.
