D&D 3.5 Character Builder that supports Gestalt

I have a tall order, and I fully admit this.

Here's what I need. If someone can help me make an educated decision on what's out there, I would really appreciate it.

I need:
  • A PC program that handles the mechanics of a character sheet; i.e. BAB, Saves, unavoidable class features.
  • Does the arithmetic (all that stacking craziness).
  • Incorporates the magic items and special features into above arithmetic.
  • Supports nearly the entire library of WotC sources.
  • Supports Epic progression.
  • In extreme cases, supports manual override of text (say for house rules or 3rd party feats).
  • Last but most, gives Gestalt options.

If it doesn't exist, focus your reply on what is out there and what criteria is meets and doesn't meet. The above is the ideal.

Thanks!

I have not used a spreadsheet app in a while, but basically add text to cells, then add formulas for the math equation you want in the cell next to it. a spreadsheet is a real time calculator, so as you add info it will recalculate everything.

its not hard to do a spreadsheet, the math is something like this A1+A2*A3 where A1 is a cell etc... the text is simple enough to add

There was one. Hero Forge. It was free and did everything you wanted. It only worked in Microsoft Excel '97-'03. The designer took it down and while I still have the original program, the newer versions of excel aren't very compatible. The math is all wonky and some of the cells don't calculate. I'm sure that it could be fixed, but I'm not very good with excel or spreadsheets.

kingsoft-office-suite-free can run all excel file types and its free, I have not used it, but its supposed to be the best free one. it may run older sheets like the one your saying.

Actually, I didn't take it down -- the people maintaining it for me neglected to keep the website up.

You can find a copy of the original page by scanning the Internet Wayback Machine. Here's a link to the site's status as of 2011, but it's possible that later dates might work too.

Also, someone has taken on the task of keeping the 3.5 version active, calling it HeroForge Anew. Here's a link to that, it's probably your best bet.

Now if I could only get the people making those 3D-printed miniatures to quit using the name.
