Is there any way to change the time zone setting? I can't find one anywhere. Sometimes the site reads and records my time zone correctly but sometimes it shows one several time zones removed and I can't find a way to change it. It's disorienting and annoying.

It reads that information from where you log in. So if you log in through a VPN, a distant server for whatever reason than might be the reason.

the time stamp hasn't changed for me for a while.  But sometimes when i would  have  two or three screens up so i could   get  info from old threads into the new posts.. the  date woulf change?.. I would  just relog   and it would be ok again.

 it hasn't happened  for a couple months, for me now.

The site derives the time stamp from the time zone setting on your device, and the only way to change the time stamp is to change the setting.  How you do that depends on the device and the operating system.
