RIP Larry King

Died at 87. Given his age not a big surprise but I think I am a bit in shock as he has looked like he was in his 80s for the past 20 years and I had always thought he had crossed over into immortality...

RIP Larry King

Excert:
King died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, his production company, Ora Media, tweeted. No cause of death was given, but a spokesperson said Jan. 4 that King had COVID-19, had received supplemental oxygen and had been moved out of intensive care. His son Chance Armstrong also confirmed King’s death, CNN reported.

Observation:
Possibly died from side effects of Covid - I had a mild case of it last Dec. I had a mild heart attack from the stress of the disease myself, I can imagine that happening to others easily enough and it would explain so many of the deaths associated with the condition.

Reaction:
We are losing to many of the greats of our age or so it seems to me. Just this week alone we have lost 3 that I know of. (and all are mentioned here, RIP post)
Though this is to be expected, it is still a sad thing.
Given we will never hear his iconic voice again (beyond recordings of course) is a sad thing for all his fans.

If my opinion changes,
The answer is still 42.
