Trying to host a campaign for the first time
1. How do I invite a specific forum member to join as a player?
2. How do I allow a forum member to play more than one character in my game?

Sorry if these are stupid questions. I have read all the FAQ's and the Help section and every part of the GM menu and I find no answers to these two questions.

no such thing as stupid question..except  for the one that wasn't  asked.

.......

GM  Menu.. you add  a   new character to existing player by clicking on 'edit characters

if you know the player's user name , send  a RMAil

if the player is in a game with you, send  them a PM.

Thanks Don. I have not made my game public yet, so I am not sure the player can send an RTJ in response to my rMail. Is there a way to make a game public but have players by invitation only?

if you  click 'this game isn't  looking for players'..then you may not get any response.

your best bet would be  click ' accepting players"  it doesn't mean you have to take  anyone that signs up ( i sure don't!)

 but it would be open  to find some god players..The  Rmail..would be your invite..copy  you 'link to another  game'..or  tell them  to go to that game.

 Bottomline? advertising it is the best way to go..sort out folks you want or  don't want... and us RMAil to get the ones you want for sure.

Thank you my friend!

Full disclosure, I am doing a test run with my brother as a solo player so I can learn the in's and out's of running a campaign on here. (Mostly site mechanics- how to upload maps and that sort of thing.) After we do this, then I will start a new game and open it up to the forum.

got idea?  there is  alot of  stuff here i can't do..I would love  to sue pics?... but its  just  too complicated for me...i'll scan stuff i hand  draw and load it into Maps.

i have player  who  stick all kinds of neat stuff in pics up..

anyway, Just like football or anyhting  esle, the more reps you get, the  better as you get used to 'hands on'
