This sounds very interesting, just the kind of game I'd like to play in if anyone would like to DM.

Still here, too.  Reading up on a number of concepts.  Do we want to finalize at least our classes ahead of getting a GM?

So far, it looks like we're leaning this way ...

Sardis: Rogue/Bard
OutlawJT: Ranger/Rogue or Fighter/Rogue (badass sniper)
Drackler: (undeclared)
Phorcys: (undeclared)

We've still open roles in healer, melee specialist, arcanist.  Depending on the approach and size of the team in the end, it looks like we'll want someone handling misdirection, commo, crowd control, and other things.  Does anybody in particular want to take those on?

Also, do we have a concept of what the B-Team ought to have as far as capabilities?  Intel and supply look to play key roles in a campaign like this.  Will we need to handle those things organically or should we expect a level of NPC support?

I’ve got a lot of free time on my hands right now and I’ve been trying to get back into things, I could be potentially willing to run a short one shot type game?

Any specific military type missions? And what kind of world? Typical fantasy, steampunk, or something else? I didn’t know if more modern special forces type gear would need to be included to capture the feel or being more old fashioned assassins or crusaders would work?

hey :)

Kind of world: I'm most knowledgeable with Forgotten Realms but can adapt to just about anything.

I'm good with typical fantasy; if a GM wanted to toss in other elements like steampunk, that's entirely up to them.

I don't think 'modern gear' is necessary.

types of missions:  I'm basically looking to play an elite military unit for a single ruler or organization.  If those missions included assassinations so be it.  I would think it would need to be underhanded stuff or they'd just use their regular military, so alignments likely shouldn't be good as we need to be willing to 'get our hands dirty'.

obviously, given that this is my game request, I'd like to see my character as the leader of the team...but that isn't a must...more of a 'would like'.

The game was made and the character sheet completed...but the GM has ghosted his own game with less than 100 OOC posts and not a single IC post.

I am in need of a GM and some fellow Seal Team D&D members

(Note: there are two players who have been to the game in the last couple of days...so they may actually still be interested in playing.)

 :)

Any GM's out there willing to take this on in order to entertain a frontline healthcare worker who is looking for a distraction from his day?  :)

It's not quite what you are looking for, but I have a pathfinder game in golarion (non gestalt) that uses background skills and most any side or optional rule set. Starting level is level 1.

aside from the above details, its an open game with budding pc rulers, pirates, and adventurers.

I appreciate the offer but I'm looking for a home for this character and a few others who had a GM that dissapeared without word or warning.

Bump.

Still looking for a GM.  As previously stated, all of the players (4) have character sheets done and are ready to play immediately.

Rhyn_of_the_vales!!

Long time no see...we've played in a few games together quite a number of years ago, but one doesn't forget a user name like that lol!

Was that an offer to GM? If so, I'm pretty open to anything you might offer ad long as we're able to play the characters we've already created.

Message me if you want to discuss things further.

This sounds amazing. I don't know if I could take on gmimg another game. When I get over extended I tend to get sloppy on other games.

Would the idea behind this be to have deeper story lines. Like potentially they find out their ruler is no good, or one mission they are sent after Innocents. Or is the idea to keep it simple and straightforward. Here is a task, get it done the best way possible. Also if it's SEALS it has to be higher start level, at least level 10. And the first mission has to be nautical lol. Assault at night on an ememy ship.

The characters are already made (13th level)...we were already playing in a different game and the GM vanished...just looking to transport the same characters into a new game with a new GM.

And I'm fine with however the GM wants to run it...straight forward missions or 'Game of Thrones'-esque back and side stories....

I would need to make a character, but if I knew what rules you used I could have one done very quickly.

There are 4 players from the original game (assuming the other 3 are still interested  in playing should a GM be found). It would be up to the GM as to whether they'd care to take on any more players beyond that.
