Special kind of D&D
Hi there! I'm glad you're taking a look at this. I will try to be brief and concise. I am looking for something using 3.5 or Pathfinder rules. I have a preference for hot, or tropical climates. I am looking for a single player or very small group of players (and GM) that can work with my sporadic schedule. I drive an 18-wheeler and I am in a different time zone every other day.
I would like to try and recapture the feel of a single player game with a handful or two of NPC companions that you're actually excited to interact with. In this vein, I am looking for a "living" sort of "world" albeit a very small one. I am looking to focus on a small section of a world, city, island, desert, region, etc, and deal with what goes on in that community. I would suggest thinking along the lines of London in Vampyr, or The Citadel or Omega in Mass Effect, your community building in Fallout... something like that. Maybe even a low key birthright. I am not looking to save the world, go on a lengthy dungeon crawl, or have boring, repetitive, one line of dialogue NPCs that don't matter.
8-15th level range is preferable
Very low magic
Possible stronghold
Ability scores generated with 4d4+4
A interesting cast of NPCs, but only a few of them are actually character classes that are accompanying companions. I would like some say in who or what the most frequently used ones are.
A focus on localized politics, relationships, or quests and adventures.
As the potential DM or GM, I want to feed off of you as a writing partner to keep things flowing and interesting, or have you be more of a referee to keep dice rolls honest with your own interpretations and reactions. You would in a lot of ways be a player. I don't necessarily need you to build a pantheon of gods, write out elaborate quests and dungeon. This would involve some heavy collaboration.
zrMail me if you are interested. Thank you! :)
