Is anyone familiar with the game setting/rules Spire: The City Must Fall? After reading through it I am fascinated with the setting and want to play, but it doesn't appeal to the majority of my normal gaming group.

At least for now, I know myself well enough to know I'm not up for running such a game.

For reference, the premise is the city of Spire was inhabited by drow until conquered two centuries ago by high elves, and these are cruel, oppressive high elves, not that the drow are sweet or innocent in this game.  The party plays members of the drow resistance trying to retake the city, or at least free some facet from elven control.

I would love to play this.

Have loved reading the book (and the art is gorgeous) and would love to give it a try but don't know where I would start running it!

I understand. Some of the more appealing aspects make it that much more difficult to GM. And yes, the artwork is gorgeous.

Also, Spire appeals because I've never played a game that feels the way the book reads.
