Solo Gaming

Looking for either a Pathfinder 1e Gestalt, D&D 5e Gestalt, or Vampire: The Masquerade 5e solo game. Adult rated, mid-to-high power level, and with a decent posting rate (5+/week). Other than those qualifications, I'm pretty open to setting, theme, and other minutiae...:-)

Still Looking!

A small caveat. I'm not interested in playing a Sabbat game in Vampire 5e. I had that arise and realize I should have mentioned it. To me, the Sabbat are not what Vampire 5e is about and are best left as villains and, at best, antagonists that can be shown the error of their ways.

If you are looking to play a RPG solo, you really don't need anyone else to do it. There are some good resources though. The Mythic Game Master Emulator is a must have. Other books like DM Yourself is a great supplement as well. You should also check out Scarlett Heroes.

The rule of thumb in solo gaming is to buff your protagonist and nerf the enemy characters

In reply to Mr7oClock (msg # 3):

Around here, a "solo" game generally means one GM and one player. Not just one person GM'ing themselves.

One-on-one RPG games traditionally have the name "duet games".

Still looking. I've had a few nibbles and one bite, but the bite let me create a character, do some background development, and then vanished. As for the previous replies, I've always considered solo games as 1 player/1 storyteller. Solitaire games require only one person and duet games are 2 players/1 storyteller.
