Hello GMs of RPoL!

I am looking for someone to run an Adult Solo Mutants and Masterminds game for me. Third edition is preferred but I can do Second Edition. My idea would work fine freeform too but I like having numbers to give me comfort and context.

Full disclosure, my idea is inspired by Alice from the Resident Evil movies though more the early ones before things got well yeah. Half Life/Black Mesa is also in my head too it seems.

What I am thinking is a survival/adventure game during something akin to a zombie apocalypse, so could be interdimensional aliens, zombies, other similar things.. that's about as far as I could think: Resident Evil and Half Life. But the point of it is that my character actually got the good end of the stick in that while everyone else was turned into a mindless undead monster or more, she got stronger and tougher and maybe some weird abilities or something. Using Resident Evil, or most science zombies really, as an example: company X was developing a serum/virus that would make people stronger, faster, better, but it went wrong, got released and turned everyone into zombies and other monsters.. except me, who it actually worked properly on. Alternatively using the alien example, they might have a process of turning humans into obedient soldiers and empower some of them, and perhaps they did empower me but I something happened and I retained my independence. We can discuss this as it is dependent on the source and setting, but you get the idea!

I see the game starting with me waking up a week or two into the apocalypse, maybe because I was an admin in a bioscience company and was accidentally or "accidentally" exposed and they were starting to study me and put me in a coma.. until the virus got loose further and everything went to hell. Or I was simply in alien stasis for a week or two while undergoing change. After that she would try to go home to figure things out and discover what's going on and deal with basic zombie survival stuff like finding safe shelter, avoiding the tougher monsters and dealing with the human gangs that are taking advantage of the situation. Things can escalate to higher level threats like stopping the apocalypse if that's how things go but I'd like to spend some time focusing on the more simple stuff despite the game system used.

Mechanically my thinking as a PL 8 Powerhouse type with several 7s as physically now peak human but depending on the context or setting might have something like one armored arm with a tough shell and razor sharp talons. This is all very preliminary and open to discussion. And yes generic zombies or equivalent would be somewhat easy to deal with I would expect other less common types of enemies to show up.

I want the game solo so we can focus on my character as she struggles to deal with both her new self and the world around her and so we can get distracted spending lots of posts about her talking with an NPC or exploring a building without other players sitting waiting around as I do enjoy slice of life. I want it adult so we don't have to gloss over things and have a more realistic game  and also because I do enjoy a bit of romance in my games or even a bit of casual smexy times if I feel she needs it, but I don't intend this to became a sex game nor intend her to fall for the first survivor she meets.
