The Oracle's Labyrinth-1

OOC: Okay, hopefully the schedule is lifting a bit.  Sorry about that.  Sometimes I get pulled into projects that suck the life out of me.

Also, I'm abandoning the private threads for the moment because I think this way will be easier.  I will be inserting private lines in this thread instead.  I may revert to the private threads as need determines, but you are close to finishing the Oracle's Labyrinth.

l

The doors begin to slowly close.

Screed scowls, "Not one of you has said that you would wish to keep Zion alive.  A couple of you have said you look for outright destruction.  If symbiosis cannot be attained then the status quo must be maintained until there is a better choice.  I hate to say it, but I kind of like the Matrix for one reason and one reason only.  The food sucks on the outside," and he heads for the Awakened.

Codec begins to step towards the Merovingian door.

"I'll just have to see the paradise that the Exiles wish for. Oh and by the way Agent," he replies just at the threshold of the door with a venomous hiss, "You consider humanity such a virus...However it seems that you fail to take into account that this "Virus" is your original creator, an imperfection. As you would like to say. Now explain to me how an "imperfection" can create something as "perfect" as yourself? Hmm?". He then steps through the threshold before the Agent has a chance to reply.

4...3...2...

The doors are almost closed.  (Still need Shadow to choose a door, and then we're set.)

Re: The Oracle's Labyrinth-1

Shadow says, "We all fight for groups that we see here, but there are others, always others.  I wish to fight for all humans, in the matrix and out, whatever way possible.  All humans are people of Zion and I fight for them."

Then Shadow chooses the Zion door.

Seeing as two of the extreme choices had already been selected. She resolves in herself to take some interest in the Merovingian/Merotech door. "You are blind.." Cistron remarks to the representative. "...You are as much a prisoner as we are. Any island no matter how pleasant, is still a prison; If you've no option to leave. -I'm interested in seeing how you've coped." She remarks sardonically as she steps through the door.

Codec begins to step towards the Merovingian door.

"I'll just have to see the paradise that the Exiles wish for. Oh and by the way Agent, He replies just at the threshold of the door with a venomous hiss, "You consider humanity such a virus...However it seems that you fail to take into account that this "Virus" is your original creator, an imperfection. As you would like to say. Now explain to me how an "imperfection" can create something as "perfect" as yourself? Hmm?". He then steps through the threshold before the Agent has a chance to reply.

Dracos enters the door with the agent.

Jade enters the door with the Awakened.

In all, Shadow has chosen the Zion door, Dracos has chosen the Agent’s door, Jade and Screed go through the Awakened door, and Codec and Cistron choose the Merovingian door.

You step into three separate rooms, each identical in appearance but with different occupants.  The room is a Japanese-style dojo with tatami mats all around.  The room is approximately 50 feet long by 30 feet wide.  The wood-beamed ceiling is about 20 feet above you.  One of the side walls is a series of long mirrors from floor to ceiling.

You have only whatever weapons you have brought with you.

Dracos and the Agent step into the room and face two human opponents.  Both humans have masks over their faces.  Neither Dracos nor the agent have any weapons.

The Agent yells, “Charge!” and begins to run toward the humans to attack.

Jade and Screed go through the Awakened door with FC 1567, Model DX 6.  On the far side, they see Da Vinci step through with two humans, both masked and wearing black ninja-like cloaks.

“Attack!” says FC1567, running forward toward Da Vinci and his two minions.

“Kill them!” Da Vinci says as he begins charging toward you.

Shadow steps through with X right behind him.  The two of them square off against the agent.  Next to the agent is a human also dressed in black with a black mask.

The agent across the way yells, “Charge!” and begins running toward you.

Codec and Cistron step through with  Da Vinci.  Across the room, they see the Awakened woman, FC 1567, Model DX 6.  On either side of her are two humans, also dressed in black and masked.

FC1567 says, “Attack!” as she begins running toward you.

Da Vinci yells, “Kill them!” and he begins running to counterattack her and her minions.

Dracos fires at the opponent on the left as he steps forward.  He takes one step forward, braces himself, aims for two seconds, and fires.

Re: The Oracle's Labyrinth-1

Cistron gives a sidelong glance toward, Codec. But is clearly talking to DaVinci "..There is no reason to kill them.." She remarks, "..And we are not your puppets, that's what being a Mirotech is about, isn't it?...Non-conforming?" Jade doesn't pull a weapon, instead she runs to one of the cloaked targets.

Combat:Focus Mode 3 pts used OOC:(Lets see if I get this right...)
Round 1: Runs to closest cloaked target
Round 2: Attempts to put target into a hold (Judo)
Round 3: Attempts to remove mask (DX?)

21:06, Today: Cistron rolled 7 using 3d6. Judo Skill roll (14).
21:09, Today: Cistron rolled 6 using 3d6. DX Roll (14).

Re: The Oracle's Labyrinth-1

Da Vinci says, "I don't think you understand.  If you don't fight, they will kill you.  Is that not obvious?"

Screed shakes his head, "Yeah, murder-death-kill.  Whatever..."  He puts his safety on and shrugs, "Then kill.  I'm tired of your games, Oracle.  Help or don't help."  He stands and waits.

Re: The Oracle's Labyrinth-1

Jade looks over at Screed in surprise, but she lifts her M-16.  "You're awfully brave," she says, "or very stupid.  I hope brave."  Then she fires at Da Vinci.

(Aim 1 second, fire 2 seconds to drain clip.)

Screed shrugs, "Nope, not brave, just tired of the games.  Hell, if I'm wrong, you'll have to let me know because I won't remember it."  He sticks his tongue out at her.

First Figure then...They are both cloaked, makes no difference to me.
