Something I'm sure everyone who has ever put up an ad has run into is the problem that, since the threads only bump once per week (something I'm very glad for, by the way), the only way to tell if you've been responded to is by going and manually checking the forum. This has led to very slow responses to questions or offers, which isn't ideal for anyone.

Would it be possible to add a color code to the Wanted forums that flags when an ad you've posted has new responses? That way, bump or no, you're specifically aware when your ad has responses, and can tell at a glance if the "new post" color is related to your posting.

This is such a good idea I'm frankly surprised no one else has suggested it before.

Oh, good. I was somewhat dreading the "here's a series of links to this topic being discussed seventeen times before" post.

I know I've missed a response or 40 to posted ads. This would prevent that.

It might have been request before, but if so it hasn't been in the last [checks when I joined] five years.
