"Mountains of bodies and oceans of blood" are the words that best describe the state of war in the Spinward Front of the Calixus Sector.  Fleets of ships cast fire across the skies, unloading precious cargo in endless numbers, while the worthless masses of many races and factions pour out from their holes to die for each mile of ground upon the worlds of the Periphery.

It is here, where the Imperium has decided to make an example of the traitorous Duke Severus and his Secession.  It is here, where you will die.   Make no mistake, guardsman; this war will outlive you, far into the future, but on this heap of bones the Imperium will forge a road to victory.

Fight on, guardsman.  Fire until your ammunition runs dry.  Make the xeno, the traitor and the heretic pay for every offense they commit.   Swim through the blood and climb the mounds of corpses with your head high and faith in your heart, and when finally your flesh fails and there is nothing more you can give, do not kneel before the enemy...
