The Quest for Water (DnD 5e)
Ibh-Kewar is dying of thirst!
For centuries, this village perched on the edge of the desert has been nourished by a steady stream of crystal-clear water, irrigating its fields and quenching the thirst of its honest and welcoming folk. But now the waters have dried up, and drought threatens to swallow Ibh-Kewar like so many other villages lost to the sands.
Messengers have been sent to the satrap to beg for relief, but Ibh-Kewar will likely perish before any water caravan can be mustered. The Elders require brave souls to venture into the qanat – the subterranean aqueduct network – that once nourished the village and find out what has impeded the flow of life-giving water.
