Heather walked into the Complex a little after Adam and Kane. She headed for the pool before the morning meetings, but her side was still bruised and sore . Heather was moving a little slower than normal.

Ben swam over when Heather came in.

"Morning, Heather. How are you feeling today?"

 Heather took off her robe and took slow laps in her bathing suit, but her bruise could be seen. Heather smiled and replied," Hi Ben I am ok, still sore that bastard hit me hard and so late. I will be ok for the game."

   The team flowed into the  large Meeting room.. The Coaches were there on the sage  with the screen set up for the powerpoints.

  Adam  settled  down with a  cup of  coffee and a couple donuts from the stand.

  The Coaches waited  for everyone  to arrive...the meeting  room clock have been colored  to have a yellow  spot   5 minutes before  the hour.. and  a blackspot  2 minutes after the hour..some one  drew a little skull and cross bones in that area.

Ben arrived, hair still damp, at six minutes before the hour. He got himself a mug of coffee and settled down to hear what the coaches had to say.

 Heather walked in from the pool as well, her hair wet, but she had her shorts and t-shirt over her bikini for the meetings. The t-shirt didnt cover all her midsection so the bruises on her left side where visible.

    Steele  cam in  3 Minutes Late... Simms  called out....Alright  Steele , with your Michgan State educations, what is  500 times  3..

 1500  Coach?

 That's right..500 dollars  per minute late... You Owe Coach fry  1500  that will go into  the  slush fund  for  kid visitors  and such... Congrates.. you're the first one to  be fined since training Camp ended.

 other players laughed..1500 dollars  was like 50 cents to some of the other player. But  Steele  had one of the 'real' contracts.

 Now? To this week's  game... Every game  we play is goign to be hard, no one wants 100 points hung on them..The Colts  are trying to stay alive  for the wild card..and I want that Home  field..so do the Chargers....

 Now? in reality, The Colts are done, as  far as the division there is still the mathematical thing, but.. it doesn't mean anything....BUT.. we beat them this  Sunday, and  they'll not only be out of  the division, they'll have to start paying attention to other teams who are trying to get wildcards.

 They went through the  'overall'  showing  what  the Coaches thought  were the strengths  and weaknesses  of the Colts.

 Pointing at  Adam,  Sims  said,CB # 28  Frankie Fox.... 5 INTs  this  year, one  for a touchdown..only beat once, By  Sandiego WR   Denny Allin, for a TD...  Fox  is clocked  at  4.1, he carried the title  of  'fastest DB in football' Colts got him , right before the deadline... they got him for a playoff run...and...to cover you

 Adam chuckles,..so Green Bay gives up  'the fastest DB in football" and I'm supposed to be worried?

 The Co;lts gave  up  thier  #2  and # 3  pick in the upcoming draft... Fox  wanted to go to a contender... greenbay saved like 20 Million on cap space.

 Yeah?...Well..this should be  fun, if they think he can cover me, they'll double  Ben and everyone else  will be man to man?... Duke  will tear Man to Man up

 Sims  turns to heather...Fox blokced   2 punts and Two Field goals..both  Field goals were  run back  for TDs..he scooped on, and a GreenBay teammate got the other.. they'll be coming for you...

 Heather took notes and listened closely. When Coach talked to her about Fox she will then reply," Well we better block him, or Coach we could let him come through on a fake extra point or Field Goal, I come to kick and Steele takes the ball and run and I accidently kick Fox as he tries to rush me. That could work Coach?" Heather giggled but she was half serious, she wasnt out to hurt him but maybe he would be more cautious after that.

 Sims chuckled a bit,well? he's a Football player,  He gives out  and takes big hits.... I'm sure they are looking at Films for our Special teams, since we have  shown we  are not afraid to  thrown away 1 pt , to get two..or  3 points to get 6

 a bit of a smirk,Part of the Paln, of course to to  'steal' some of thier Prep time, by being worried about  what we  might do...

 He looks at Heather  , and then the rest as he ads,a 15 yarder to get rid of our  kicker? Not a big price to pay...

The Dragon green truck pulled up outside the Complex and Ben looked out to see if Lu-Ti was already there. He hoped not, he didn't like keeping people waiting.

 The Security Guard   gretted   Ben, Ben could see all teh coaches  cars still in the lot.

  'Evening Mr Hope?.... Ms Amota is  in the offices I can Buzz her, or you can go up?

"Hello, Kenny. I'll go up. OK to leave the truck here?"

Ben went in search of his beloved.

  Kenny Nods,Of course, Mr  Hope, if she isn't in her Offcie, she'll be in Mr Yuto's  or   Mr Amota's...

  as   Ben walked  down the   track to the tunnel, adn up the ramp way past the dragon's den, that only had a few people working  for  coffee and small meals for the coaches and   custodians .

 Yuto's office  was Dark,  up the   path, he saw  light comign from Lu-Ti's Offcie  and   Mr Amota's.

 As he  drew near he  could hear Lu-Ti and  Yuto arguing over the   phone with some on in a conference call.

 " we will  ...NOT...entertain  any  such trade after the season..." Lu-TI's vocie  was boarderline harsh.

 Yuto added,"..He would not even want to go, unless  we told him, we...ourselves..wanted to trade him..."

 "..that is where   you people fail at this business..he is a player, like..like a piece of  offcie furniture, that  you could sell, and make a massive amount of money, and secure  draft picks? We Just want to get him, before San Diego steals  him from you...its no secret that Linda Flame and he are close, and they are in that TV show toegther..Sandiego would have a big big  chance to get him...we would rather he play for us...after all, we share the same stadium with the Chargers?"

 Yuto  is  darn near  mean," we do not  need to sell our  furniture, as you say!...do not  broach this subject with us again..."

 "Miss  Amota? Perhaps you have some  influence"

 "..no!!..I will not..."

 The fellow sounded  angry..."you are both foolish!, What do you think he'll want to do  if  his  show is a hit?... then his value will go down, and you'll get nothing for him!"

 Yuto  was  cold..."...he has friends here, Coach Sims  knows   how to get the best out of all his players...i do not see him being happier  anywhere esle...we are done "

 The  man  at the other  end  said," alright...I'll call you again  after the regular season... this offer?..is only good  for two more weeks.. you might not get an offer this good again.."

 Lu-Ti  slmpped the button and cut the  man off, The siblings  snarled in Japenese..

Ben propped up a wall and waited for Lu-Ti to emerge. Whatever was going on wasn't his business.

  LU-Ti came out   muttering in Japanese under her breath... she stopped short as she say  Ben. her features  softened a bit, but her  eyebrows still furrowed.

  I need to get my things from my office and we can go.

Yuto emerged , shutting off the light of his father's offcir and shutting the door, he looked tired...Hello..Ben.. I hear you are cooking for  my sister...That is good...it has been a long tiresome day!


LU-Ti came out with  her purse and a  leather  travel bag.I am ready.

Ben smiled.

"I enjoy cooking... would you care to join us? There's plenty to go round."

  Yuto smiles, and bows slightly to Ben,Thank you..No..i want to be alone a bit and relax, and I think Lu-Ti could  use  some company, that is not her   Father or brother...

 he gives  Ben a  pat on the back as he ehads into  The Dragon's Den,

"No worries. Another time perhaps. Goodnight, Yuto."

Ben reached for Lu-Ti's bag.

"Allow me, my love. Your chariot awaits..."

He led her downstairs to the waiting truck, handed her in, then jumped into the driving seat. He waved to Kenny as he drove off.

 Sunday..12:00..Game time  had been switched to 4:00 for TV purposes.

 Servers  from  the Dragon's den Brought in food. Pastas  and soups,  platters  for players to make thier  own submarine sandwiches.

 Juices  soda  and   hot drinks were there.. the Coaches  trusting the players to know what effected them, and how.

 In the Mean time, the coaches  went over   Special team coverages,  Fry worked with  the team for the  2 point plays



 The O Line  went over  some   quick tapes,  picking up some of the 'tells' The DT had when he was going to  Rush, or when he was going to  try  to  hold the   center, and guars  so  the MLB   could  shoot through

Adam and  the Backs  , along  with Steele, watched   Duke  flick through  scenes of  defensive  sets..askign     the  players  'where would they be open///pointing out , if some one was wrong. emphasizing  when they were right..

 4 hours to go before the game.. the parkign lots  were full, for all three Venues ..the  weather  would be warm, but  cloudy, a slight  breeze.. a  strom was moving in from the sea, it would hit a around 6:00..

 pregame shows   were   showing helicopter  shots  of the   of the stadiums and thie rlots, with people   playign games, grilling   and watchign  pregames on TVs... the soccer  and baseball stadium  had people   on the  fields, to watch the screens , adding  close to  another  100 peple in each building... with 5.00  tickest, that  the proceeds  after    the  utilities were paid, going to   Amota  med.

 Heather said good bye to Nat as she went to the cheerleaders area, Heather headed for the players area. She went in saw the food and looked and got want would fit her for the game but she would eat light. She got juices too drink she didnt carbonation before a game.

 Heather went over the 2 point plays with the special teams and Coach fry.

Ben was happily making himself a sub with sausage, egg, bacon, and salad. He also had a mug of coffee.

 Heather got a ride to the complex and went to her car to make sure it was fine overnight. She then made her way into the Complex and headed to see the doctor for her appointment. Heather was a few minutes early and she was happy with that, but she was moving slow she was still very very sore, and her hip stiffened up a little over night.

 She walked into the Doctor's office and said," Hello I am Heather Montomery I was told to report to the Doctor at 6 am."

 Heather was  led to the Back.Wills was  just leaving as they  checked his knee  and  gave him some  treatment.

  The Doctor  had  Heather get ready for an MRI..and  when it was through..they sat  in the offcie.

  Right now> if there  isn't  any breaks, you will have to talk those  Muscle relaxes and  anti-inflammatories... we  will give you  a Tens unit to put on as well , to  accelerate the blood  flow  and  help it heal.... If it is a break?  You  , wil most likely, be  done for  the season...perhaps, you may get to kick  in the championship game..but.. that's your Plant leg..too much  foot-pounds of pressure

 as they chatted, the  intern brought the films... The Doctor studied them...well?.. you , more or less, got  lucky... you have as deep a bruise   as I have  seen..it goes  deep into the tissue.....we  can speed up the healing, with what we talked  about... I suggest you head  down to the  training area, and  do contrast treatments  for the next hour..10 minutes   hot..10 minutes Cold...finish up with hot... Then..go home relax..take your meds  and   hook up to the Tens  unit.

 walking, only, until Thursday..then we'll see if you can kick  a little bit.

The Nurse brought out  the Tens  Until and  two Bottles of meds., the script on the bottles.

 Heather got ready for the MRI and then joined the Doctor in his office when they were done. Heather listened and then after the intern brought the films, the Doc said she got lucky and only a really really bad bruise. Heather nodded and said, " Thank you Doc, I will head to the training room now, thank you for everything Doc." Heather smiled at the Doctor and took the tens unit and the two pill bottles that the nurse gave her.

 Heather then headed out of the Doctor's office and headed for the treatment room. Heather looked at the time as she walked into the training room looking for her trainer.
