Ben ran from the townhouses to the Complex and went down to the swimming pool. The place seemed very quiet on a non-game non-training day.

When he reached the pool area he changed into a pair of trunks and got into the water. He usually only had time for a few quick lengths but today he could have a good swim, something he enjoyed - only running and playing football beat it!

  The trainers were setting things up... from the looks of it  ,smoe  folsk had  already been there.

 Ms Montomery?  how are you feeling today?  and what are  we going to be  doing?

 Heather wasn't going to lie," Yes call me Heather, I am still very sore, but I have a good range of motion and the doctor said, contrast treatments for the next hour. 10 minutes   hot. 10 minutes Cold. finish up with hot. Then go home relax take my meds and hook up to the Tens unit. How does that sound?" She then headed to wear could get set up for her treatments.

Eventually Ben climbed out of the pool, showered and got dressed. He wandered through the complex ending up at the team offices where he checked with the PR people if there was anything that needed to be done.

 The trainer  pointed to the   dressing room...Get in a  - suit... and  we'll start on the   tubs...when you're  done   I'm going to do some streches on the table   for you... I'll study your  Films  and see where the  deepest tissue damage is, and mark you with a marker  for   where you should  put the contacts.

 Ben  entered the offcie, the secratary looked through the   stack of papers..we're sending out  alot of the players who do not get many offers, to help get thier names out there. But here is one requesting  a 'High Profile" Player..and You lead everyone i the league with Pro Bowl Votes, at your postion and Over all. There is a Sporting  good store. About  30 miles  from here...at a Mall, they are havign an after  noon Talk show  guy from The Wolf  Network... They'll be addressing  the Playoff and , of course Heather's Injury?, it  pays  1000 for a half  hour's work and they'll fed you there too.

 Heather smiled but she was sore but was going to work hard to get through it and be at least available for Sunday's game. " Sounds great, I will be right back." Heather went and got changed into a one-piece bathing and then went to the tubs to begin her treatment from Stokes vicious hit.

"OK, I'll take that if you like."

Ben was still a bit uncomfortable with celebrity status, yet it was quite a thrill to hear that he was leading in the voting for TE. Silly, really, it wasn't something he'd paid attention to as a fan, and he needed to keep focussed now and not get over-excited, but... :)

Smiling, he noted down the details. He should be able to deal with that and be back in time to collect Lu-Ti, and if he was at a mall, he should be able to get food to make dinner for her whilst there.

He ran home, showered quickly and got dressed. In due time, he set out having put directions into his satnav.

  The paper  has a time on 9of  10:00 and you are to call to when you are on the way.

The  Mall is  only 8 or so miles from the  Stadium, on a clear day its  easy to see it.

 Once the contrast treatments  were done, Heathr  was  taken to a table   when  the  rtrainer  begain to test the tissue around the wound sight, and   work on extrenions  and   easy streches...

 we will do this about an hour>  then you can go...should feel a little looser  when we're done.

 Heather was feeling better form the treatment, but it was a very bad bruise that asshole gave her. Heather smiled and replied, " Sounds good thank you, that bastard got me good didn't he." Heather let the trainers do their work and tried to relax as they tried to loosen up her bruised hip.

 The  trainer   gave a jerk of his head, I mean? I have seen worse..like career enders and  such?  But this  is bad, and could have been worse...

 There is a knock on the  door  an one of the  other trainers answered, letting  a  Japanese  woman in..she   smiled as  she walked up to the table.. and  bowed slightly.

 Miss  Montomery... I am from,PR department ..it is  thier wish, for your  to attend  the   Victory party tonight.., there will be reporters there, and they would like you   go  ..how you say...'state your case'..in a non-official venue?

The trainer says...she can't  drink..and shouldn't be dancing

 Yes...this we know...but..that will help   state the case... she is there  for her teammates and Fans, even though she cannot  enjoy herself?

 the  girl gave the trainer a 'polite smile'...it would look..how you say..much staged? if she is at the  Nightclub,and 'forced to watch'..many people with identify with that...it is better to see in person..then a face on the screen... um..i do not mean disrespect. But i do not tell you how to fix  muscles...please... do not tell us  our job? she smiled that smile again

 The trainer   shrugged..well..this is part  of mY job.. but if she doesn't  do anyhting stupid?.. I gues it won't hurt...No drinking...no dancing..even slow dances.. Just  find a stool or  booth and sit...

 The   woman looked at  Heather.

  Heather smiled then seemed to get real focus and said, " I will do it for the team and the fans and I want everyone to know what that bastard tried to do to me, did you see he deliberately went after my knees with his helmet." Heather calmed down for a second and then calmly said," Yes I will do it but," as she turns to the trainer and agreed," I will not drink or dance I will enter and take a seat away from the bar with Nat answer questions and be miserable in front of the public as my teammates party because of an asshole."

 The PR Girl Bowed slightly...Thank you Ms  Montomery. It is Anko's view, that people see  our players, as also people..and...it is her thoughts, that people will not like , that you are hurt, and they say you not just  at the team function...but, that you cannot wholly take part..thank , I will  tell Miss Anko..

 I have been in football 2 years..one  in Japan with Amota Tiger..and this  year , right now....I have seen people get away with  hurting people..i have seen others not get away...  Adam has taken hits...and  Mr  Mik...and Mr  Ben?...

 Bronk and Payne have  handed out thier  share of hits as well...

 Heather smiled and nodded at the PR girl as she left. " Well honestly if it gets Stokes Suspended for a long time, I am willing to do whatever it takes to show these clowns we mean business. Just because I don't have a penis I can't play football, hey I can take a legal hit it is the illegal ones that bother me from assholes. Maybe if they hit him very hard it won't happen again."

 Heather laid there as he continued her treatment and replied, " Yes they were all legal hits, I have no problem with a hard legal hit, that is football. The illegal ones especially trying to end someone's season or career cannot be tolerated."

 Heather than laid there to get the rest of her treatment.

   when her  session was over, the trainers gave her some  stretches to do   every  few hours, and a   time period  to use the Tens unit off  and on... they Hooked her up, and  the trainers  would ask her  when it became 'too much'..then dialed it  back a notch. Marking the  settings  for her ma d setting up a schedule.

 The trainer Frowned,I know what  the  Team wants, and need  from you at that party? And I suppsoe  and  hour or two  away from you  bed or couch won't make anything worse.... Just?  Don't  do anything stupid.. If it was my call  you would be inactive  Sunday..but we'll see what the Docs  say on Saturday , Coach  has you listed  as 'game time decision "

 Heather listened and took notes on what she was supposed to do when. After the tens unit was set up, she got everything together and started to leave, she responded to the trainer, " I will be very careful and maybe me moving slowly and in pain will help our cause in getting this guy suspended. If the Doc says I am good, I want to be able to help the team if I can." Heather double checked what she was supposed to do and then headed out of the Complex.

 Heather was starving so she decided to drop into the Dragons Den for a bite.

 Heather pulled into the parking lot got a spot as close as she could and then slowly made her way into the Dragon Complex. Heather got Adam's text and she laughed loudly. hetaher then replied back to Adam," You go Bomb!!!!!!!!"

there were News Vans  outside the   gates....the Security was doubled ..No reporters inside the Building yeah..but the   started to surge  forward  when  Heather Pulled in..

 some callign out her  name, as the guards  pushed   them behind barricades...You'll get in when its  time, Not before... Ms Montomery and some others   are arriving for treatment....if you overstep, You'll be banned.

 Heather stayed clear of the reporters the best she could, all she said right now was no comment. She nodded and smiled at the Guards and went into the Complex as fast as she could with her hurt hip.

 pulling into the  parking Lot, the surge  of 'second  string' reporters Shouted  to Adam as he got pout   with his backpack  and opened the Door for  Lindsey.

 Heather went to treatment first and when she was done, she got to the meeting room about the same time as everyone else. Heather saw the media, smiled at them and then went into the locker room for the meeting.

 Heather left the Dragon's Den and headed for the treatment room, to get more treatment before she did her walking laps. She walked in and said," Ok where do you want me first?"

 tracy was working on  charts for the players. Eva  came out of her Office and   sent  a trainer to get the   hot  and Cold tube  ready...

  This is going to seem a bit odd... but were doing this  backwards today. You are going to  do the Hot  and  cold treatments  first... we're going to Hook you up to a TENS unit, and you'll go  out there  and walk your  Laps . I'm Hoping, By doing these  now, and having the  Unit hooked up..we can get the Blood to flow, to speed up the healing... your legs  should  be already   'loosened' for you to hit the track,,,

 She   motions to the Tub  rooms a and follows,there are going to be reporters in the stands  as  always.... Coach wants you on the track walking for everyone  to see.... and I'll tell you what he told me. The Dragons Know you, for who you are... there isn't a

 Heather listens to Eva and then replied," Thank you Eva, I know the team is behind me and Coach Simms treats me as a kicker and a player thats all I ask. Yeah I think everyone knows it didnt matter my sex on that illegal hit a male kicker would have been hurt just as well."

 Heather added," Ok lets get this rolling then Doc." Heather does the hot and cold baths, and then they set her up with the tens unit. When they where all done and the unit set, Heather felt a lot better but she was going to take it easy and not overdo it though. Heather then said," Ok Doc I think I am ready to hit the field, should I be wearing anything special or will my Dragon sweets be ok?"
