Heather Arrives  at the Complex.  The  car parked  as she sees    Reporters  and such, being herded away from the   employee lot.

  One of the Guards   greets her. DR EWva  is in the trainign Room, she  said to send you down  as soon as you get in.

 Hesther drove in, she went to the players lot, Heather saw all the reporters she didnt want to deal with them just yet too early. Heather gets out and she is greeted by a guard, " Thank you I will head there right away, have a great day." Heather was in a good mood, her hip felt better, Stokes got nailed and Adam right have found the right woman for him finally.

 Heather then avoided all press and went into the complex, heading straight for the training room.

Ben came running across from the townhoues, a gym bag slung across his back. He was wearing a Dragons t-shirt, shorts, and running shoes.

He waved at the people hanging around his gate and looked at the increased security presence.

"Do I need the secret password to get in?"

  The Guard  laughed   at Bens Question,Yeah?  The Pass word is.. 'Im not from Nashvillie"    They waved  him in, Kane  rode to the   Complex  with Miles and Slaon.

  didn't  worry about calling the Den, he'd  just drink  the coffee and   eat the pastries  at the meeting, and worry about  real food later.

 As the other players went to meetings, Heather went to treatment, went to see to see Eva and see what she had planned for her today. Heather walked into the treatment room, she smiled and said," Hello everyone where do you want me today?"

  Eva   looked over the  clip board, then picked up her tablet... Monday should have been the worse  day... we loosened you  up- a bit yesterday... we're goign to try that  again.. starting with  hot...then  cold.. 10 minutes  yeah... 4  times  each, then  check your range of  motion. The MRI  didn't show tears, and your  hip isn't cracked., so? its  just getting that hematoma  to break up and  Strech the muscle  that contracted to protect the wound  area.

 Heather smiled and replied," Yes, it is feeling better today, and that sounds great, I am glad no other injury but the bruise. Ok lets get to it then Doc, and thank you for everything you are doing ."

 Heather will then get ready for the treatment and follow Eva for her morning treatments, then see what she will do after.

  Eva  waved to tracy who waited to take  heather to the  tub room...

 Heather smiled and replied," You got it Doc, maybe I will even get the ball for you as well." Heather smiled, followed Tracy into the tub room.

Lindsey parked at the Stadium by 7:30. She still had some time before she was to meet Lu-Ti, but that gave her time to run her clothes up to the studio and still be able to go by the Den to get coffee. Before getting out of the car she sent a text to Lu-Ti, and to Adam, telling them both that she had just arrived. She told Lu-Ti that she would be running those errands just ahead of their meeting.

It was great getting to park in the employee lot, but she still had to use the main entrance. The other reporters were sequestered to the side until it was time to let them in. The previous day, she was accompanied by Adam and Yuto. Following them in, with all the fanfare of the meeting made it easy to just follow along and be a part of the entry. Today she was alone, and it reminded her of just how new to this she really was and of how many foundational things she had yet to do. Fortunately, she was still the beat reporter and was technically a member of the staff. She smiled and waved to the main guard as she went by the others. Glancing over, she smiled, waved, or nodded to those she knew.

As she walked through the checkpoints, all the guards waved her through, not a one of them even looked at her badge. It was a fair bet that they all already recognized her, or maybe they were just that good at spotting the credentials without making a show of it.

Before doing anything else, Lindsey needed to drop her garment bag at the studio. Going past the Den to get there, it was worth the extra steps so she didn't have to lug that bag around. No one was in there when she went in. It was strange not to see anyone, but she simply popped into the dressing room, and hung her various outfits quickly, brushing them flat with her hands.

With that done, she went back to the Dragon Den. It too was empty other than the staff. It was fine, She grabbed a coffee, a muffin, and then found a seat and checked her texts.

 LU-TI pulled in in Ben's truck. She  waved to reporters  who  tried to get her to  'let them pass;..she  just smiled her  'Dragonette' smile.

  she  walked her  way down the track  and into the tunnels, going up the ramp to the next level where  the Den and Offices, and owner's box  is.

   Spotting , Lindsey, LU-TI walked into the Den  and Waved to a Staff member and Pointed at  Lindsey's Table. Sitting a  suitcase, her brief case and purse on an empty chair, she smiled once more.Good Morning. It is less  hectic today, yes?  There will be  people coming in to try and follow up stories on  Adam and Steele, No doubt...some might approach you as well. I cannot tell you how to handle these things? Except  to do your  job. Your way.

  A woman brought a Coffee  and Danish over, Lu-Ti  fished in her purse and  gave her a 10 dollar bill, waving off Change.

 sipping her coffee  she smiled, and nodded to Lindsey.Ben, makes   good  breakfasts..and dinners?... He had things  ready , ate and was out the door at the time  I came  down the stairs....

 she looks around and lowers her voice.Thank you again, for Taking Adam   last night.  Did you have a good night? she will wait until  Lindsey told her, or not  how the night went., then open her  Phone, he smile faded...This  Came to me... Yuto too, I believe. It is  something we cannot turn down, for appearances. But something we   may control, somewhat....

 the Phone showed a PR Letter to 'The Dragons'.. The  Hit, if not , controversial show, 'on the Record'  wants to have  Lana, Lindsey and  Linda on for  a talk show, which is   about the same as  Football Network's H2H

    as Lindsey reads the   Text, LU-TI is  frowning as she sips her  coffee, breaking of a bit of  Danish to pop in her mouth.. she  talks , delicately through the  chewing.

 Yuto says he does not want to allow that..Your Studio  wants to do it, because of  big big ratings...Local sponsors  are already lining up... I as woman? think you should... The  League has  already said  they would 'prefer' we make this  happen.

 Putting both forearms on the able, holding the  cup with both hands  as she looks at Lindsey...I will not be there..I will be in San diego...Yuto will be there.. But Yuto is like..how they say..'mini-bomb'..he may have to be restrained she giggles.

 This is for  tomorrow  at   8:00 AM...... They wish you to fly out to Nashville to do it in Studios  in Nashville...  Yuto is going to say you are needed here,  As you have obligation to  your fans, city and own station.... I have seen a few of these shows..it is much like  the football  show H2H..they will  try to make themselves the 'good Girl'... I can only see two reasons for this...1..it is much  PR for them..Linda's movies  and TV..Lana's singing ....2..it is damage control? They get to 'explain' what they did, to you and whole country...white washing  bad things....3...perhaps they want to  'recruit' you into    a group...this would be a way of  PR and linking the three of you , no matter how long you can handle Adam!... she giggled at that last part, having to control herself  as she sipped  coffee once more.

 Heather did her treatment, and she sees Yuto's text. Heather sends back, " Thank you Yuto, yes, I will see you at 12;30 for makeup, if we start at 1 Sir. I will not jump in with in but will help bury him." Heather then continued with her treatment, and she went through all her messages.

  It is  my bad. Yes, 12;30...   you may  either go in from being  in treatments, or you may get  'fancied up'..either way, Ms Eva has you   for  'on field' treatments and such, as  yesterday.

 Heather smiled and replied," That is fine Yuto see you then and probably right from treatment."

Lindsey smiled and greeted Lu-Ti, putting aside her phone when she sat down. Lu-Ti opened with a warning about the other reporters still digging on the Bronk/Steele violations story. In Lindsey's mind, that was a yesterday story. Steele's participation was still an open question, but she felt like that was about more than the one violation. Still, as Lu-Ti pointed out, the questions would still come.

"It's okay if they want to ask me things." She shrugged "I've already been in one fistfight today. Why not have another." She looked deadpan serious for several seconds, gauging Lu-Ti's reaction until she finally couldn't hold it and broke into a laugh. "Just kidding. Well... kinda. I had it out with Eddie V this morning. Something he said really irked me. I overreacted a little, but I'm now in a better frame of mind."

Lindsey paused to let Lu-Ti settle with her coffee and danish.

"Wow," She said in response to Lu-Ti describing how Ben had things ready for her. "That's great. Adam does the same thing. He had coffee and toast ready when I came out." She leaned in to speak a bit more softly "I'm not sure if he knows how to make anything but toast." She smirked. "We have some great guys."

Lu-Ti asked about her night with Adam. Lindsey found the thanks amusing, though.
"No need to thank me for having Adam over. We had a nice evening. We went to dinner then we watched the fallout from my interviews yesterday on TFN. TFN called me to give some perspective. But aside from all that, we did just get to relax with each other. It was nice." She looked around as if there were others who could hear them before continuing in a lower voice. "It was more than nice. Between you an me, he can come be with me every night. Hopefully it also gave you and Ben some alone time."

When Lu-Ti showed Lindsey the texts and the show idea, she read through and listened. She agreed with Lu-Ti in general, but waited for her to finish before adding her own thoughts.

"Okay, yeah. I think I have to do this show. You're right. This is a ratings grab, and EG will want me to do it regardless. Lana and Linda will both have their own agendas. The question is should I do it here or there. The whole team is flying to Tennessee tomorrow anyway, right? I want to do it in person. If I don't they'll make it out like I'm scared to face them. Also, the people in the studio have an advantage when it comes to speaking time. If the producers and host don't control the response order, I'll get drowned out. Linda is going to play like she's been misunderstood. Lana is going to everything on Adam. I think maybe Linda or the host might try to make me out to be the Jezebel, but more likely they'll play me for the next hapless victim of the Bomb. If I'm there I'll have more opportunity to control the narrative and it will be harder for them to speak over me. Yuto is sweet and gallant, but I can handle a small group of harpies."

Lindsey covered her mouth, touched and flattered by all the supportive texts Lu-Ti showed her. "Oh my gosh, those are all so sweet."

"So when is Heather's interview today? I have that interview with Jamie in San Diego at 2, remember? Was I supposed to appear with Heather, or just watch and cover it? I was also going to use the studio here for that, but if it clashes I'll have to go to NJT studio and I won't be able to be here for Heather. We need an agent to coordinate these things. You set up the San Diego thing with me. Will that be live or recorded?"

With an obvious disdain, Lindsey bristled, shaking her head at hearing about Eddie. "Ya. Keep that creep far away. Apparently he has a habit of getting his women pregnant. The thing is, he shouldn't have such a high success rate there. Sure, he could, you know, poke a hole in his condoms and all, but... these are adult women, clearly active... I'd be shocked if they weren't on the pill. He must be messing with that somehow." She shuddered. "Ugh. Just thinking about him makes my blood boil. You don't even want to know what he did this morning."

After a deep breath, or two....

"Ya. Well, yesterday I wanted to coordinate with you to put some damage control on Linda's little 'poor me' PR stunt yesterday in the parking lot, but that doesn't look like it's going to gain traction. Sure, she'll get publicity for her movie, but I don't care about that. She can will a billion dollars on that performance for all I care, as long as it doesn't hut Adam. I'll make sure that doesn't happen in Nashville tomorrow. The other thing was to get some clarification on the interview with Jamie in San Diego at 2. What do I need to know about that?  Lu-Ti Giggled at  Adam's  toast...he is many things. but not the good  cook..he can make eggs?..he is really good at making Cold cereal...

at Lindsey's  last question,  , LU-TI finished her  Danish, there was a slight change in her demeanor , once she swallowed the bite   she  said  quietly.I have been  in the United States 6 years..on and off. That is not counting  a week  here and there , when my father  brought me to meeting... in normal business, it  is the dog eat other  dogs...My Brother was  Bullied  in college, when all  he wanted, nothing else then to get his degree and help our family Business...Adam, as I have told you..stepped up, when he could have just joined in?

 My family was  made fun of  at  NFL meetings, as we   tried to deal with the Americans as best we could.. Father, had to use  me to speak for him, as he and My mother forced themselves  to learn English... it is good? It comes in  handy in other business.

Heather replied to Coach Sims," Coach I can handle a Neanderthal like Stokes, I am going so I can hand him the shovel to dig his hole even deeper. Thank you Coach but I will be fine, and it will help the team." Heather saw that look , she smiled and nodded to Coach Sims.

Lindsey listened carefully as Lu-Ti described the ordeal her family endured on their journey to own the Dragons. In the end, Lindsey was basically right. Lu-Ti may not have gathered and disseminated the dirt on Linda herself, but she was still responsible. Even more impressive was the revelation that Lu-Ti suggested she had full time investigators on retainer to gather intel on her enemies. It was becoming clear that Lu-Ti was more Dragon than Dragonette, and not the football kind.

After reading the bits of Adam's contract from the Captain Lighting movie, Lindsey could see how the scheduling would put Adam in a bind. It didn't seem that intractable a problem, but Lu-Ti was right about Adam being stubborn about some things.

"I don't think any of this will be a problem if Adam drops before January. You're right. He can be stubborn about some things, but we should be able to convince him. I'm not convinced this was put in here to intentionally hurt him, but it could be used that way. But why would they? Linda and Max might want to hurt Adam, but the show runners have a movie to make. Captain Lighting will never win any Academy Awards, so a scandal would only buy them limited publicity. Forcing Adam to stay in the movie would benefit them the most if the Dragons win the Superbowl. If he drops out after this mess with Linda, no one would blame him. But no one would hold it against the production either. To be honest, I think Linda is the biggest liability to the show. She needs to redeem herself, which might be what she wants from this little cat-fight scheduled for tomorrow. Lana just seems to hate Adam, so she might even help Linda tomorrow. I don't know. It's another reason why I really think I need to be in the studio with them."

Lu-Ti produced the latest bit of intel from Jamie. Lindsey looked it over, but wasn't really sure what all the implications might be.

"I'm not really sure, Lu-Ti. I don't know what the cast looked like or who was playing what. Although, if Max was added to the cast, it says that Linda has a lot of influence. Am I reading that right? Does that say that the title character, Captain Lighting, is being replaced by Max's new character? What role was Adam supposed to play?"
