Player  will come her  for diner sometimes, the  townhouses  aren't that far away...its a gated community  for the players and   team folks... saves on rent to which is like getting a raise , in  an itself ... but there is  a pep rally before the game and a   Victory party the  night after...

 Mica smiles  and  rubs  Sims's back.we were  in college together  at Delaware State.. i tutored some of his buddies.. and we started dating.    she smiles,..then he was drafted  by the Giants, then  he played  well,  his third  year he had a very bad Knee injury ..and it ended  his  career...but  Delaware state offered him a  DB coach job..two years later, he was  HC...then we went to JApan, and now we are here.

Lindsey nodded with a genuinely interested smile. She was touched. "That's so sweet. So you were together way before he made it in football and you stuck by him through all that. Well, he's lucky to have you." She held up her daiquiri. "Cheers!"

Turning to Holly and Duke, "So what about you guys? How did you meet?"

  Holly  looked at Duke, Duke  just    gave a shrug.....he was a   FReeagent QB from  North Dakota St...big arm...good stats...but..'north Dakoa Sate?"... he  won the   #2  spot  with the Vikings... took over in  game 12 when they benched the   3 time all Pro, who threw  more INTs  then TDs... they won out...but  cut him  in febuaray.. I met him at  the  Kansas City tryouts , i was a  photog Helper  for    tradign card companies..he asked me out  after  his pic was taken..he made the Chied..#3..in active for  8 games.. made #2..when the   starter  went  down..took over  in Game 12..they won out...and he was  cut?... we  got married  right before  the Chargers got  him... he was on thier  roster  for  4 years, started  11  games.. didn't lose  any of them... They treaded him  to the dragons  for there   2, 4th round picks...

 best move  we have ever  made...

I traded away the old one... they sent us Duke, because they have a brand new QB fresh out of the box..... san Diego, KC, The Jets and  the Lions we major backers  for the Amota'  thentrade helped us both out...we got   Duke, and thier  new shiny got to start without any locker  room troubles

 Duke  smiled,Dragons drafted  Ben  first.... Steele   2nd with their other  #1... they Got   White in the  3rd roundWheeler in the  5th and Machins ,along with Santos in the 2, six  round picks...

 Mics took a  sip of her drink...Free agents.... that's where  we  struck  Gold, Bronk and  Mik from Canada..Smokey UFA...heather  UFA...Cruz and Bin and Emma  UFA..

 Duke chuckled,most of the  team is  UFAs......Kane?   he looks  big , right... But when Lewis was here as DC?.. he worked the poor guy over in  Camp.... he didn't like  kane 'too fat'' all that stuff... he was  making him run 5 yard sucides ..the who  length of the field...It was  Nuts.... The    Bomb lined up with him...Lewis  bitched.. Kane  thought Adam was  making fun of him... Then  Mik lined up... then Payne, and worth, and  Lucas, Carlous. Cruz..santos... in the end, everyone one  but Steele, and a couple guys who aren't
 here anymore..  we all ran with Kane..Lewis got  disgusted and left the field for his office... KAne...refocused himself after that..he's still a big guy, but he's  faster
 now

 Sims  looked to Lindsey...lewis played   the same position i did , in the NFL... he has a superbowl ring as a player..he lost  out  to me for the HC spot..he didn't like my Offense, said it was too hard on his defense..he   would attack,some  of what he called 'my players'..he hated   Bronk with a passion, which...  he laughed  and Mica  almost choked on her  drink...well..Adam, will get so far under your skin,  its like he owns you.....he tried to punish  Adam  by making him run laps in full gear?..... Adam runs  laps  in full gear for  fun! The  Japanese players  thought he  was supernatural...

 Mica     controlled her  self  as she added...and Mik!

 Duke and Holly laughed...oh my god  yeah... Mik and Bronk?.. its  a wonder  Lewis didn't throw himself off the stadium  scoreboard..they  find an opening..look  out..I mean..you are in the business, right? Look up some of those head to head shows...

 after the laughter  calmed down,  Coach Sims said...In the end? I think my players would  do anything i asked of them.... we have discipline... we have focus, and everyone know3s what the prize is... they started seeing the  projected numbers of thir contracts right now?...almost every player   will  grade out  in the  top 10% of the NFL   'take home'..with about  80 % of that money being bonus, and  not count towards the cap....so my player   practice  hard, and play harder..and god help you if  you  cheap shot one of  thier won.... They are  smart...they'll pay  you back, but it  will be within the framework , of the  Game

 Duke nodded...it started that day in  Minicamp... Kane's  Run.. Adam challenging Steele after steel  thought he had the bst arm in camp...  there isn't any of us, the woman who were hear as well, who can over throw that nut ball..  Payne and Worth, they got the Defense believing. And when you , as a defensive guy, see offensive folks  dealing
 as much pain as  we do..well you have to step up your game...


 fear  one of the reasons  we win. We score  early, keep them off the board, the HC across the filed starts   wondering if  i'm going to try  for 100.... if so? how  bad  do they need to win?.. if they can keep us    under 90?..and that's the end of the game...you no longer thing about winning..you think about , not giving up points...seeing our players
 run in  and out of games, while most of the other   teams sit  thier 2nd team  guys  until they need  them... lots of head games  go into this game

Lindsey sat back and sipped her drink while she took in their stories. They seemed very eager to talk about their histories and the trials they went through to get where they are. It was all quite remarkable really. Most sports readers only want to read about the games, at least in the paper. In Lindsey's mind, all this sounded like book material. She wondered if Cindy ever thought about that.

"Your stories are amazing," she said to the group. "It really sounds like you guys play football on your terms and the rest of the NFL doesn't know what to do with that. I'm really looking forward to this."

Lindsey finished her drink. "Thank you, all of you for inviting me to sit with you. I'm going to go introduce myself to some of the others. If I don't get to talk to you again tonight, please have a wonderful evening." Standing up she smiled again and left the table.

Spotting Marques Payne and Adam Bronk mingling, she walked over, standing where they could see her.

"Good evening, gentlemen." She flashed her winsome smile. "I'm Lindsey. You all know that by now. I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I loved your song. How are you guys doing?"

 Payne, who looked  like some one you would see in war movie, smiled a bit wider then the  smile he had taking with Adam, his low , gravel voice rumbled when he said,Nice to meet you... I want to say i saw you around the complex when Cindy was there, but that might  just be projection, from Cindy's introduction... I am Marques Pyane.. been a  Jag for  almost  4 years.. i was traded  to them from the Giants.. i only played  'bout  half a  year for the Gaints... he looked  around,My wife  was hear a Minute  ago... i think she  ran off  with Woerth's wife to get some food in the  diner..

 Adam had his cola that he toasted  Cindy with.I'm  Adam Bronk, your friendly neighborhood   wide out.... They both   extended thier  Hands...

 Just call him 'Bomb'. The Litle  Girl that  is  our mascot  for  home games,  has  her  own moves  for when he scores... she has   some cute  moves  for  some other players too.

 She's a good  Kid...her  father had some hard luck with Jobs  and his 'wife'...but the Amota's gave him a job in the one tech  factory, Near Amota  Interntional?..so he has a great job, she has health insurance, and  Amota Lawyers  locked out the 'mom' from every bothering her again.

Adam frowned,..sorry..not  the light hearted  party stuff, But that little Girl is special to us all, especially  Emma, they bonded  pretty good...

 Payne nodded..we're going up to play the Titans  this week...one of their players  Pu7sher  her  down and swore at her, and the outrage  was off the scale..course, I guess you know that...still don't know how he  got out of the stadium alive...

 Adam snorted,..i bet he is   'inactive' this week. If he plays  some of us  will be hunting his head.

 with his free hand  , he waved  the air like  trying to clear it of smoke,anyway..enough  of that for now. Its good  Cindy brought you here tonight. Trying to get to know the guys   during or after  practices is kinda  hard...and you'll see some of the  Big Network folks  snooping around, trying to cause  trouble..or get that 'big scoop'... But these  guys  are relaxed and happy right  now.. except for Heather...oh damn...here...

 Pulling up his contacts he pointed to  the contact that said  'Kicker  chick'...That's her  Cell, she told me to have you text her if you want to talk...Kane  and I took her  home, a bit  after the Dragon Stomp..she pretty sore  from the    Hit she took from  Stokes.... That's a big 'league level' story there... trying ot end any players career,  and  getting caught?  not  cool.... but a Kicker?  who's a Lady?... yeah?  i don't know what his future holds..

Lindsey smiled along as she listened. Was Lissy Dragon's dance the most interesting thing about Adam Bronk? Defintely not. But it was always fascinating to see where people go when given the chance to just talk. Of course, that would change in different circumstances, but over time she could really get to know these people in and out of the game. In this setting, Adam showed he had real compassion. It wasn't just for the little girl, but her father too. For a man who made a living hitting other people, that was an extraordinary quality. Cindy also mentioned how he looked out for everyone. As he said himself, meeting them in this setting was better.

"You know what Adam - Do you prefer Adam or Bomb? - I couldn't agree more. I've been told you guys are like brothers. Inseparable tough guys from New York. How did that happen?"

    Adam chuckled as she  said 'tough guys from new York'

 Payne  says... turns out  , where he used to live,  was about 5 Block  from  my turf..we never played  each other  in school, I have a few years on him..big noise about the fast Kid, who the Olympics   said  'could be an alternate'

  Adam shook his head, Team USA  headhunter at States... I beat every one of their  100 meter and 200 meter  people they pulled into the program..but hey?.. I didn't have  any money to get into programs, and no one sponsors a   kid  from the east side.

So..first padded practice. i see this  kid..and  i can pick up the accent...

 ..I don't have an accent

 Payne rolled his  eyes,he comes across the Middle..he's been catching everything  Duke  threw to him... But Steele comes in and Hangs  him out across the Middle... I hit  him with everything I had...tryin' to make noise, 'cause  cuts are coming up...  he pulls the   Ball in, he flies. like   5 yards   and Hits int  Cruz... He Gets up  tosses the ball to the  coach to mark it and says...'nice hit"

 we got to talkin after   practice. and I find out, he's not  really a  jerk, he's just like..suicdal..

  Don't let him kid you... he  just started liking me  at thanksgiving  when  he got to have  some stuffer Cabbage and Chicken  paprikash

  Payne   Gave  Adam  a rough one armed  Hug..anyway..  he hits people on Offense..i hit them on defense....and he scores a few  Long TDs  a game.... Coach gives   duke a  steele a few catches to over throw him a game.. hasn't happened yet..but  we got alot of points..

  Adam  laughed...You want to talk about  touchdowns.  Ben's the machine... I even threw  him a few.

 ..as  for what to call me?  Call me what y9ou feel like.  I answer to most of the names...

 Payne grins..Its true.. Adam always lines up on the enemy sideline, because Caoch knows he drives the other Coaches crazy  with smack talk...

  yeah.. they have names for me too...

 Payne ticks off on his finger....little bastrad... son-of -a Bitch.. assassin..

 There a Voice  behind Lindsey...Adam.. ya  keepin the new  Reporter  to yourself?..ya  Hoser   you...and  Payne.... he 'tsk tsks '...an' you a married  man an all... yer  both hosers, an' that's a fact...

   Adam grinned,This is Mik San-Guerre.. we  played   for the Ti Cats toegther
  when Caoch gave me the call he says, Bring some one  who you think  will help the Team....

 ..Coach meets us at the  gate. we're Unloaded our stuff, and he gives me a look.... says to Adam.." He's gonna help out  team?

  Adam starts to  Chuckle , as  did Payne.

 ..Bomb looks at the coach as serious like and says..." he's canadian? who else  is better at sending out for  doughnuts...

Lindsey laughed, turning to Mik. "Nice to meet you, Mik." She offers her hand. "We're all just having a chat, getting to know each other. Join us. So what's your story? How did you come to join the Dragons?"

Lindsey looked for a waitress. Finding one she caught her eye and waved for her to come over. "Let me buy everyone a drink."

  Cola  for me, thanks...

 Payne  shrugged...beer is good  for me, thank you...

 Mik shrugs,..I havta Drink beer, I'd   lose  me citizen card, if a  didn't...

 I'm  in playing for the T-Cats... my third  team in  4 years. Slot back..catch an'  run Kinda  thing... we didn't have  a  QB with a great arm, but he  could get rid of it  quick..but... it  got  bad when they started  rolling up the  defenses , he was in trouble...

 so? turns out ,  three days  after he shows up, he's  lined up as the other slot back..me and him slots.. two Wide outs , a  full back and TE.. we get  5  backs in the CFL..with our  12  man lineups...

 anyway..they were  doubling me, and left the  new  guy alone, that's when the show started.. 4  touchdowns  on  5  catches... his shortest touchdown  was 65 yards.. they had him room with me...... our season was winding  down,  we didn't make the
playoff's, but closer then we were before...,   Adam stayed up in Hamilton to work with QBs  and get the offense down, but in February, he got the call from Coach Sims... My contract was  up..and i was getting long in the tooth.  so Adam ask me, how i'd like to play in Florida.. an' here i am..

 what he's not telling you, is he  was the Ti-Cat's leading reciver... the next closest was their 'big name' wideout... But mik had  more  yards, touchdowns  and catches... I had to   play wildcat, a couple times, because that 'round coach' used to be  my Highschool coach, and got a  job coaching backs for the Ti-cats..so? he made me look god
 when i was running for my life , looking for someone who  would catch the damn ball...Ti-Cat called him yup  as thier season was starting in June..offered him another  2
 Mil to come back..he just said no thanks..pretty big roll of the dice, considering
 we  just   started mincamps.

"So you two came as a package." Lindsey moved closer to Payne to make more room for Mick. "Alright, you can tell me you don't want to talk about it, but I want to ask anyway. Correct me if I have all this wrong. Payne, you're married, Adam's dating an actress, and Mick is...?"

 Mik  looked a bit  awkward, Adam chuckled..Mik is in  his  5th or 6th Dragonette, i think...

 Mik looked  embarrassed,ah..ya bleedin' yank...you'd  have yer share if you were  watchin' film 20 hours a bleedin' day.

Lindsey's laugh was friendly and disarming. "Don't sweat it, Mik. I promise I won't publish that. Your secret is safe with me. If I were you, though, I'd be more worried about the first four Dragonettes." Adam's use of the word in, instead of on, was curious, but she wasn't going to ask about that. "But Adam, who is this actress you're dating? I don't recall ever seeing you with a companion. How did you meet her?"

 Payne smiled, but there was a stern look.. Mik  watched.

 well. I hung out  with one of the Dragonettes, she  went to San diego  though,more money?...don't see how that is possible. The dragons  pay thier  ladies  well, and they  get endorsemnt deals  just like the rest of us...

 anyway... earlier this season,  Then Singer , Lana? she  did some pregames for us, and Yuto got her to perform out  at th Amota's  estate for a  Hallow dress up thing, to  get donations ..we  had a   'Wish-iand-Well' where   sutis and dresses  came in  , dressed up and mingled , they dropped  checks in the well, or flat out  money...anyway Lana sorta  hit on me , make me Sing... That's when 'Lissy Dragon ' was  born,  she was one of the kids we had there from Amota   Kids..to help meet and greet the dontaion folks...

 we hung out..it was  fun. she got ..ALOT..of press, beign in the owner   Box...

 Then the Night came, I was  on The Night Show... and as a surprise.  they had Linda Flame, who plays  Lita  in Captain Lighting..i mean hey..my fav show!....she comes out wearing a  Bronk Jersey... embarrasses me, make  me sing...and autographed her   jersey while she wore it... ..forget how it happened. but it turned out Lana  was  running around on the west coast with some Country Guy.  they....merged bands, and where a big thin out there.... Linda  Called her out on it, and we started hanging out...

 kinda   weird, feeling you know? being  a dumbass on national television , because 'you are the last one to  know"...but..hey?  I've been embarrassed before.

 It was clear, Payne didn't like the  whole 'lana thing" he gave   Adam a  bump...tell her  about the   TV show and stuff...

 yeah? Right there on The Night  show, I get offered the  part or Argie Johson.. he's a pilot, and  Lita's  Love  interest... i had some  fun with that at the Opening of the  Captain Lighting Movie... they did a fun raiser. Me and Linda in new york and the  Guy who plays Captain Lighting, and the woman who does  Lt Broadsword in Chicago... New york  won.... Linda did another of neat things.. she went  with us  to my Buddies   Mom's Restaurant.. she had some other cast there too. brought in alot of Money with Dragons and actors all over the place.. Yuto set her up with some kinda franchise deal? that's not in my wheel house... anyway..i get to work on the  TV show.. and if the people like me..well? I'll have 2 jobs.

 But?  if you come to   the game, you might see her..they shot on both coasts , so she's used to it... I think she's   supposed to fly in  Nashvilie   in the Morning...

  Mik shook his head.....never trust a singer  who don't  know  how to sing fight song...

  Payne  smiled a bit,  My man? he took it all in stride...

  Adam  looked at Lindsey with a  half  eye roll...I think  we both traded up.. she  got  some  Hick, big name Music  guy that   is getting her  bigger venues.. and I have a  Actress, who dose scifi and likes  football?..only thing  is? I didn't know i was  traded..

 again? its because you have them square  eyeballs from starin at film all the time..that   entertaiment show had   pics of   Lana  and that  cowboy guy  almost every other day

 Payne  and  Bronk looked at Mik...You watch " entertaiment  tonight' ?

 what?   well um..yeah?  see  about your show an' all...

 Payne pointed at Adam..But he didn't get the   gig, until after Linda , outed Lana....

 Mik sorta  looked around...Oh? hey.. that have  shakes in the Diner.. I think i'll go have one... he  scurried off..

 he's goofy as hell..but  he's a great guy...

 They use helmet up there?  'cause if they don't , that would explain alot..

  yes..hemets.. they have  footballs.and they get paid...

 Payne   shrugged...Hey? I didn't have to  play for them.... Payne Nooded to lidnsy a he moved off..

 Adam called  after him, I didn't have to play for the Jags!

 Payne  shook his head and kept walking...

Adam's story about how he met his girlfriend was full of twists and turns. She had heard about the scandal with Lana, but she got it from the media like everyone else. None of that detail was reported in the stories she read, and somehow she missed the part where he started dating Linda. It was obvious that Payne did not like the situation. He face made his feeling quite clear at every stage of the saga. Mik was less obvious about it but even he seemed uncomfortable.

It was rather sudden. Maybe it was their distaste for the turn of the conversation. Maybe it was something else, but Lindsey found herself alone with Adam as Mik and then Payne rushed off. She half expected him to excuse himself as well, but when he didn't she went ahead and broke the new ice. "They seem very spontaneous. I'm sensing they don't like your dating situation? Or am I misreading that?" She sipped her Daiquiri. "And how do you stay so fit drinking sodas?"

  Adam  had a  wry  grin,..Most folks didn't Like Lana, She was nice  enough... I mean? It wasn't Like  we were gonna get married... helped push her  record  sales in  FLA though.

  Linda is Cool?   Mr Amota Likes her, that's a Plus. Ben Likes her, but he likes  everyone..anyway... PR folks  are having a Ball with the  actress - football player thing, so it helps the club too...

  well?  lets  see.. Pizza, Pasta,  and soda, the three food groups.. with  Coffee and some good hunky food  once in a while... I'm  shorter them  most guys, so i don't  worry too much about lifting? I run..alot... distance... sprints... i run all my routes  full out..and I throw.. so that  burns off     alot of it.... Ben  shares the town House with me..he cooks  pretty  god  and the   food in the Dragon's Den is good as wel.. I have them makign Cole slaw and  stuffed Cabbage and food like that too...

 He  saw   Ben and Lu-Ti  and jerked his  head in , for them to come over.

Lindsey turned to see who Adam had beckoned. Benedict Hope must have been a foot taller than Lindsey, and he looked like he built for action. There was a sureness about his demeanor but also a quiet kind of humility. It was an intriguing combination, especially for a world class football star. His companion, Lu-Ti, the Dragonette had the looks and the body for cheer quad. Her long, silky black hair was just radiant, and she had a beautiful face that - like Ben - showed no hint of cockiness. In fact there might have been a touch of apprehension about approaching.

Lindsey waved with her usual welcoming smile, as if she was seeing old friends she just saw the day before.

Ben smiled down at his beloved.

"Shall we?"

They came over and Ben pulled out a chair for Lu-Ti before seating himself.

"Hello, you must be Miss Garret. I'm Ben Hope and this is my beloved Lu-Ti."

He held out a giant paw to shake, enveloping Lindsay's hand ever so gently.

"Are you enjoying meeting the Dragons, Miss Garret?"

Lindsey found Ben's introduction fascinating. He was so formal. Not just with her, but with Lu-Ti also.

"Hi, Ben. It's so nice to meet you." She accepted his handshake, noting how conscious he was about be being gentle. "And Lu-Ti. It's a pleasure." She offered a hand to her as well.

"Yes. It's been great so far. Everyone's so open and friendly. I've just been getting to know a little bit about everyone. For you, both of you really, how did you come to the team? And then how did you meet and become a couple?"

  Adam stepped back a  few  feet as  Lu-Ti   stepped up.Yes..it  is good  to meet you..I hoe you will be a  supporting force in the media. We have  More then  enough detractors...

 Yuto and  I are god  friends  with  Adam.... Ben, came to be, Adam's    room mate... and ntroduced   us... after that it  was ben ...being Ben.

Lindsey nodded. "Yes, Yuto told me the story. Sweet. Ben seems like the perfect gentleman, too. How are you liking being a cheerleader? Did you do something similar before this?"

  Lu-Ti smiled a bit as she  looked to  Ben, then over her shoulder at  Adam , who was  sipping his soda  as  a lady fan asked for an autograph.

 Turning Back she said...I am a year older then  Yuto..bit studied in Japan..Yuto came  here to set the ground work for business in New York , after his studies... I came to mellow to get another Degree, and found that  Yuto and  Adam  had become best friends...they played football and ran track, so I  went for cheer,  since i did  Gymnastics in Japan.


 she  shook her head,I did not cheer in Japan for the Amota Tigers.... but when we  worked on getting Jacksonville,  we attacked all Aspects..FAther   hit   the  front offices, and dealt with the meeting and law concerns.. Yuto worked on finding Coaches, that  ..WE..wanted..the players would be easier to sort out.. and I worked on PR and Cheerleaders.. I  may give  up  My Head Dragonette spot  next year through.. there  is more and more things i must work on   as far  as  our community, the Team and  our interactions with so Many things, Like Olympics  and  such.It is nice to be on the sidelines. we cannot see the  game is well.. but to feel the roar of the  crowd cascade  down our stands?... it is not  an easy  feeling to want to surrender.

Ben was content to let Lu-Ti talk, but eventually chipped in.

"I became aware of this wonderful lady that was always around, and came to the conclusion that I wanted her to be always around for ever... and she has now done me the honour of agreeing to become my wife. We shall be wed after the season is done."

He smiled at Lu-Ti.

"As for me, my route here is the conventional one. I had a football scholarship to the University of Oklahoma, did the whole Combine thing, and the Dragons drafted me. They are wonderful people and I am very happy here... I'll be staying as long as they'll have me."

  Cindy  Came over, and excused her self.Excuse me?  I'm leaving  with Steele? He's taking me the complex to have dinner  at the  Exec  dinning area there....

  The out-going, reporter  looked around  At Adam, and then Ben..I'm sure  someone can get you  a ride back to the studio to get your car.

 Steele  came up  behind her looking at Adam,  with a  sly dog smile....  Bronk gave him a slight shake of his head, but he grinned  wider...

 The two left... Coach Sims popped up Its closing in on 10:00... I'll be sending a  Text out  extending Curfew  until 11:30...first meeting is still at   6:00...  He   gave , bo9th  Ben and  Adam a cuff on the  Arm...Mica  Gave Adam a Hug  and the two disappeared.

   Adam looked a bit embarrassed..she was like  my Mom , in Japan....

 LU-TI laughed...Adam, was too proud to stay with  us a first... so  Coach Sims  and his wife  let him stay with them for a month...when it came close  for  Coach Sims to  make  cut... Father suggested Adam stay with us..so it  did not appear to me..how to say?   Sticky Things , going on.

Lindsey glanced over with Lu-Ti at Adam signing the autograph. She could understand the allure of being so admired, but wondered if that ever got old. She would ask at some point, but this wasn't the appropriate time or place. She made a mental note to bring it up when the time was right.

"I didn't know Yuto played football himself. I'll have to ask him about that later. So, degrees, gymnastics... it sounds like you are a woman of many talents. I'd like to hear more about that sometime."

When Ben spoke up, Lindsey turned her attention on him.

"Well, first, congratulations." Lindsey's eyes lit up. She was delighted for them. "A football wedding. That's beautiful. Have you set a date yet?"

Before they could answer, Cindy came over to announce she was leaving with Steele. She wondered what was going on there. It seemed to her to be a bit more than friendly.

"Okay Cindy, no problem." She gave Cindy a hug. "Have a great time. I'll see if I can bum a ride. If not, I'll call an Uber."

When Coach Sims announced the curfew, she checked her watch. At first the announcement of a curfew took her off guard, but then she considered it more and it made some sense. Adam's moment of embarrassment was amusing though.

"Adam,"</Seagreen> She turned to him. <Seagreen>"What are these sticky things?"

Ben rose when Cindy came over.

"Good night, Cindy. See you around..."

He sat down again as the conversation resumed, letting it flow.
