there are soooo mnay articles, in so many papers and On line.
A Girls B-ball team, was blasted for scoring 102 points to 10 or something like that....The Coach said, like i always said, you don't like it..stop us!.... now, the underlying thing there, was the good teams center? or Point guard?..anyway..needed like 30 points to break the school record, so he let her play until she got 30.. why was she in so Long?.. she kept dishing the ball off to 2nd and third teamers, so they could score!
here in PA, a few years ago a highschool team scored over 100
when i coached? I told the other coaches, 'we play the 1st 3 quarters for real, then the 4th quarter we'll sub... and we did, sometimes we started subbing right after halftime..we never scored 100, we scored 60 a few tomes in 10:00 quarters.
But? when we put kids in who never got to carry the abll ( Lineman, defesne guys ect). I told them to try and score... to me?.. I knew they'd never get much chance as they moved up, so this was their chance to have fun!
here is some highschool history..
