IC: Barbarians of Lemuria

Is there any interest in a classic swords and sorcery game using the Barbarians of Lemuria Mythic Edition system?  It's a rules light system that allows for classic Conan the Barbarian style adventures.  The world is human-centric and therefore humans are the main race, but I'm open to allowing other traditional fantasy races depending on interest.  Game would likely be rated Adult for sexual themes, violence, and other tropes of the genre.

I would be very interested in joining a game like this.  I have been looking for a Conan isk, game but there don't seem to be anything like that around here.

Sounds fun! Is it rules-light enough to create a character an play without a player needing to go buy the book?

Like David I would also be interested if it could be accomplished without a need for books.

Character creation without a book shouldn't be too difficult.  The number of points you have to distribute between your stats is static.  (4 for Attributes, 4 for Combat Stats, 4 for Professions).  You choose your own starting equipment/weapons/armor based on whatever makes sense for your concept (with GM permission of course).  If you take a Boon that makes you wealthy, it's entirely possible to start the game with a villa and a sailing ship.  But most characters will likely start with a couple of weapons, some armor, and a few miscellaneous items that would make sense for whoever your character is.

I have the book but I've never played. Perfect time to try it out.

There appears to be enough interest, so I've posted an ad in Wanted - Players.
