GhostShipBlue:
Long time supporter of the game.
I'd say the the most interesting point is as the apocalypse is running up to the tipping point. When things are listing hard but have quite flipped over and actions can either make or break the situation.
Pretty much no matter what the setting or situation was, I'd br up for this.
If I’m tracking what you mean, you’re interested in that moment when the party has gathered in the church, zombies beating on the door and the “what do we do now” question is being asked. I kind of like that staring point instead of a Dawn of the Dead style beginning. Essentially the 1st option.
One of the few things I don’t like about Unisystem games is the stepped successes. I think the TT handles it just fine but it adds too many extra posts with PbP. So I’m thinking about adopting the narrative rights from PbtA games and using this for the task/test resolution; same d10 + attribute + skill
When you attempt to do something that could fail, roll+Attribute+Skill.
On a 6-, you fail AND the GM will tell you how it has gotten worse.
On a 7-9, you fail BUT, you dictate what happens.
On a 10-11, you succeed BUT the GM will tell you what complication follows it
On a 12+, you succeed AND you decide what additional benefit happens.
Do you think you both would be ok adopting that? The wording might need cleaned up a bit.
