IC: D&D 4e Keep on the Shadowfell

I have the maps from a friend of mine that GMed this for me, and I'd be excited to GM it straight from the module and with the detailed maps my friend created. I do, however, want to see if there's interest and to add a caveat.

I don't want to have to read long background histories, and frankly I think they'd be wasted on me anyway. I don't mind improving the module as characters go off the beaten path, but I'd like to stick the module where I can.

I'm planning on just the first module to begin with. It's one of the few games I'd have that be mostly light involvement, and I'd like that. All my other games are very heavy.

Who, if anyone, would be interested in this?

I've only seen one game make it to end so far out of about a dozen, but I'm sure I could dig the books out of wherever they've gotten to...

There seems to be interest in the GM's Wanted thread, or so I've heard, allegedly, etc.

I would be interested if your game isn't fast paced, 2-3/week would be fine.

I've played through and partly through the module several times, but I like to support 4th Edition games and would sign on in order to provide enough players.

I consider this sufficient interest, given the time frame of replies, to justify starting this game. I will go ahead and open a game in the near future, but I do want to say I probably won't start in game before the beginning of the year.

Yes, it will be slow paced. I'll probably have rules for posting maximum and minimums, both in frequency and volume. I have a two current games which will fluctuate the pace of this. Then in April I'm slated to start one as a Co-GM. So this game will be affected by surges and slumps in those.

I will ask this thread not be closed until I post the game link, so any others can voice their interest.

When I do post the game link though, we'll start with some ground rules of establishing the conduct of the game. Just so everyone knows, and can discuss, how the game will play out and what kind of quirks I have as a GM. I'll probably want some level of group cohesion, be it synergy, or attitude. Preferably both. It will be action heavy, with dialogue advancing the current events rather than too much planning. Things like that, and more, we'll discuss when the game board is open.

Thank you for voicing your interest.
