I’m checking for interest either a HarnMaster or RoleMaster game,  the RoleMaster game would be 2nd edition/Classic version.  The HarnMaster would be 3rd edition, though the Gold edition would not be a problem to merge into the game.

Very interested in a Harnmaster game.

I'd love a classic Rolemaster game, assuming I can find my books or a reasonable facsimile

I have old Rolemaster 2nd edition boxed set and I'm interested in playing if you decide to go with Rolemaster.

Thanks for the response,  so it is 2 to 1 for RoleMaster.  I’d want a couple more players so we will see how this goes.

My preference would be a home brew setting but the Shadow World would be fine too. I'll also add that since you'll be running the game, this should be firstly your preference.

Truthfully, I don't remember much of Shadow World, so it would be homebrew adjacent from my standpoint, in any event. The main joy of Shadow World, as I recall, is access to Spacemaster. Well, for the GM, anyhow.

Either SW or homebrew works for me.

Not sure if it's too late, but one more for Harnmaster here if it ends up going that way. Or for future reference.

We have 2 for harn and 4 for RoleMaster I’ll give another day or two and see what other interest we get.

I believe so.  First was 1 edition in the early 80s, 2nd Edition in the late 80s. You had rmss in the early to mid 90s Changed to rmfrp or fantasy role play around 2000.  Did not go over that well, and revised back to 2nd edition called it classic. And abrevated the system from the overfilled skill set in 2nd after 7 or 8 expansions and 3 monster manuals.

Sounds like the timeline is right for Classic.  Consider me interested.

Just found a copy of Character Law today while thrifting.

Very interested in Rolemaster. Keep me honest on the version: I own the one depicting the spellcaster with the mohawk and the lizard on his shoulder firing a spell at a dark, mintotaur-type while a female archer looks on and a fighter lies injured at her feet. Copyright date is 1999. 2nd ed?

What color is the cover?  That sounds like an rmss cover but the title of the book and the color of the cover is the best way to tell.

Maroon border with gold lettering, "Rolemaster Fantasy roleplaying."

Text on the bottom of the back cover says "Rolemaster is back and better than ever!"

That’s the RoleMaster fantasy rpg edition.  A reissue of RoleMaster standard system.  If you can keep track of your skills, and abilities I can open the game to either version but you will need to be able to keep track of things since there are differences between 2nd/classic and rmss/frp

As far as the Harn folks go.  If we can get 4 players I’ll open a game.  Those interested can rmail me, if we get enough interest I’ll open a game once the other games have stabilized.
