Ideas for a new game?

I'm starting to feel a bit stir-crazy just sitting around with nothing to really keep my mind engaged.  Which, apparently, was one of the main features of staying active here...go figure.
Please post here if you've got feedback, ideas to share, or just tell me to lay off the caffeine.   :D

Several possible game ideas:

1. A Netflix She-Ra/He-Man Crossover (see link to a message in this forum for more details).
System: Free-Form.
As attached as I am to this idea, I don't know if there's enough interest (and interested players) to actually make it work.   As there's three separate factions with possibly different goals.

2. The Star Smashers (Rifts Homebrew).
System: Rifts (Palladium).
While I've dusted this one off a time or three here, it's been picking at the back of my brain lately to get things clarified and set in stone; possibly for posting in the official forums.

3. Arkhaime (Pathfinder Homebrew).
System: Pathfinder 1
This is another one that I really need to get finished up and made usable by other GMs and players.

4. Shipwrecked.
System: Varies.
This is your classic High-tech trapped in low tech.   At least one variation of this put Traveller (d20) characters on a D&D world.

5. Adult oriented Anime themed game.
I've had ideas for several different series: including a Monster High themed one and a Sailor Moon themed one.   I've also got ideas for various one on one stories.

For idea #5 I would recommend Monsterhearts as a system.  It’s pretty much designed around that central premise.

It uses the Powered by the Apocalypse [PbtA] engine, so the stats/rules/moves are all fairly easy to pick up.

Ideas for a new game?

I'd actually like to finish a game that I started (for once), which is the purpose of this thread.  To figure out which one to do.

In reply to Ski-Bird (msg # 2):

I'd be leaning toward Free-form for idea #5.   Admittedly, I've had the idea for a love interest for AstraNova for quite a while...and it's got a plot wrapped up in it.
But defintely free-form.

Just  my 2 cred  here...all those games   sound good., By why shackle yourself  to a system, that some folks may not play, or don't  want to play any longer?

Homebrew up a world,, set up your own  rules, and/or  cherry pick rules you love, and  let  the folks  RP in a Seni-freeform world?

set up frame  work..do's  and  don'ts..and go from there.

Because ideally, a system forms the basis of and gives consistent rules for, any game being played.   And I'm waiting/wanting this thread (among others) to see which one stirs the most interest in the community.

For #5, I agree with Ski-Bird that Monsterhearts would work well for a Monter High type of game. But if you lean more towards the Sailor Moon aspect, then Big Eyes, Small Mouth would be ideal, since they have a specific Sailor Moon supplement, which could be tailored easily to your senshi. (Although you said you were learning towards freeform for #5, so it might be moot.)

Freeform, complete freeform, is always my preference for any game. I just don't like the way stat rules and creative writing go together. It's different when you're actually playing a tabletop cause it's essentially live improv. So my vote is always freeform.

I would love to see a solid anime freeform, I used to love playing in those back in the day. I don't have much experience with either of those two mentioned, but if you wanted to do something in the vein of like... Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebop, or even just a custom that borrows from multiple franchises, I'd certainly be interested.

Anime-themed games tend to make a bad choice for using a system.  How exactly do you stat out an attack that can blow up a planet, yet characters can shrug off like it's a water balloon?

@Hunter
By using a game system that supports it. Like Mutants and Masterminds or any of a dozen super hero based gamesystems. Torg, Hero systems, ...

M&M has the value that it can be simple to play if the GM has been careful during character generation. It also has a great idea that you can have characters at different power levels, and that 'works'.

The key to the successful systems is to have an exponential scale and not a linear and then everything just works.

I'm leaning toward a free-form game currently.   Either the He-Man/She-Ra crossover (if there's enough interest indicated here) or a Monster High themed one (if there isn't).

Addendum/Edit: I've discovered recently that I'm a sucker for True Love/Love at First Sight stories.  Put them together and I'm fairly malleable...assuming that the "Just Because You're Cute" part of my brain doesn't take over.

My only concern with these characters is making sure their powers are balanced but as game worlds both ideas seem interesting.  I can just about remember watching She-Ra, Monster High I did not know but googled it and it seems OK
