I have been wanting to play a Mouse Guard (Burning Wheel by extension) game for a while and with the area I am in and pandemic stuffs still a thing I can't really get out and do that normally. Also my schedule prevents me from having an established game night for anything Discord/Zoom/etc.. So I figure I will check here. However, with no visible games using either system in recent history causes me to wonder about 1) the interest and 2) the viability of running a game here.

I must also note that I am new to the systems, but have been reading to familiarize myself with the rules. I am willing to run if people are willing to bear with me.

Additional note: this would not be a fast paced game (again due to schedule) and I'd focus more on role play and character interactions than combat.

I have seen Mouse Guard and Burning Empires games here before, but they were faster-paced games than I usually play. I would go for Mouse Guard over Burning Wheel, personally.

I've seen one or two Mouse Guard games before. Never joined one, though.

Mouse Guard is my first pick to want to run since I am most familiar with second edition and the source comics. Being able to compare it to first edition, they really did a good job in refining creating your own mouse and the wises. I have a handful of notes for house rules to adjust a common issue with the conflict system and running sessions in a PbP format.

I like Burning Wheel.  Wish I could find my copy of the rules.  If I could, I'd run it.

I'd be up for a Mouse Guard game! Played a couple demos of the first edition rules, and liked the comics.

Have read Burning Wheel but never played. Character generation seems cool. Can obviously see that Mouse Guard was derived from it, but BW is more traditional and baroque.

If there's still plans on running a MouseGuard game, I would be interested. I have the book but have yet to do anything with it.

Yes, the plans are still on to do a Mouse Guard game. I have the 2nd Ed materials so it would be using those rules. I think the major changes between 1st and 2nd are the Wises and character creation giving more.

Stuff with work kicked up a lot of dirt this past week, so I've been slow to prepare anything. I'll try to put together some things to set up the game over the weekend. Once I have things set I'll post a link here for anyone interested.
