Hello, I just got in, I've been getting behind on actually making a sheet, probably can't read up on everything, but I've been looking at some of them.

Most of us aren't too sure of what's going on anyway! Except maybe Gerad, but he seems to be a Seer and to have some sort of vast background metaplot thing going that no one else pays much attention to.

Well, it mostly is just in-setting explanations for the results of decisions made by WOTC marketing department.

I presume we are still waiting on new characters?

I'm doing some crafting and building. Just don't trip over the arc reactor.

Now THAT would be an odd side adventure. Get the dimensional-transport effect working and go and try and swipe an arc reactor from Tony Stark. Probably in the middle of an alien invasion to boot.

We already have ZERG and Pit Fiends... Time jumping is the other game. If you want to meet Tony Stark you need to be in the Gotham game...

I get the feeling you could do it with the Eclipse system. It seems pretty flexible.

Oh I think you can build the characters fairly easily (as long as you don't go for the more ridiculous versions), I just meant that between the DC plotlines and complications, Marvel's plotlines and complications, and Faeruns - and many competing cosmologies (given that the comic books aren't at all consistent) I'm not sure that anyone (including  the GM) could keep track of the setting...

But this game is not about the DC or Marvel universes. Faerun is complicated enough. With their throw every deity into the setting, many cataclysmic events to usher in eras and editions into being.

Try finding a nice map of Faerun and first you have to decide which edition it was made for before you use it. Seems Faerun is the flagship setting and they need to justify updating it every edition...

Anyways- yes, with Eclipse anything is possible. Want to play a demigod? Yup; how about dragons? Yup; modern setting world of darkness? Yup...

Well, all we need is something that supplies raw power... A few spell levels per round to power a set of minaturized applied spellcraft circles and you could build a sort of magical iron man suit... or there are lots of other ways.
